Retired NFL outside linebacker Josh Martin and his sister Gabby Martin are excited to announce the grand opening of their new Smoothie King location in Northfield.
The franchise opened its doors to the public on May 1, bringing the brand’s signature blend of health and wellness into the Northfield community.
The Martin siblings’ journey began in Denver, where they attended Cherokee Trail High School.
Josh’s academic and athletic prowess earned him a coveted spot at Columbia University, where he excelled as a standout football player while earning a degree in anthropology.
After college, Josh’s talent on the field caught the attention of several NFL teams, and he went on to spend seven years playing outside linebacker for the Chiefs, Buccaneers, Colts, Jets, and Saints.
Smoothie King is the leading smoothie franchise in the United States, with over 1,300 locations worldwide.
The Northfield location will serve up over 100 smoothies, offering a wide range of options that cater to different dietary needs and goals, such as weight loss, muscle gain, and immune support.
The brand has also recently introduced smoothie bowls to its menu, including acai berry, Banana Boat, and dark chocolate banana.

Her expertise and leadership skills have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth opening of the new Smoothie King location in Northfield.

As part of the Grand Opening celebration, Smoothie King Northfield will be collecting non-perishable food donations June 5-9 to support the Food Bank of the Rockies.
In addition, they will be offering daily promotions to thank their new, loyal customers! Please note that in order to receive the discount of the day, guests must bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
