New on Silver Star’s culinary scene is Spice House, a fusion restaurant that opened at the beginning of the winter season with a menu that embraces global cuisine and vibrant flavours. India-born Chef Sid Singh developed the menu alongside Brown to fuse crave-able flavours from Mexico, Italy and India with handcrafted dishes to satisfy the appetites of Silver Star’s active guests and locals. The varied menu features spice fusions with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. Iconic Indian dishes like Butter Chicken and Channa Masala are already proving popular. For aprés, the Tex-Mex Papdi Chat is a perfect dish to share alongside Samosas or Naan Pizza.
After a two-year hiatus, the much-loved DiVine Cellar is re-opening this winter. A long-time local favourite, the Cellar is now open Friday to Tuesday from 4 p.m. until late, serving a variety of wines, beers and cocktails. Known as “Silver Star’s living room,” this hidden gem offers a cozy lounge-style atmosphere in the lower level of the Bulldog Hotel.
