Sephora Spring Sale 2019: Tips, Recommendations, Dates, Discounts

It’s that wonderful time of the year when Sephora Insiders receive a discount on their much-coveted beauty products. Here are a few tips on how you can get the most of the Sephora Spring Sale 2019.

1. Use Ebates

If you’re planning to buy online at Sephora, you can save even more money by using Ebates.ca to earn cash back on your online purchases.

All you need to do to earn cash back is to go to the Ebates.ca site, find Sephora as the vendor, and click through to the Sephora site using the “Shop Now” button.

The cashback amount varies all the time. When Sephora has their Insider sales, the Ebates.ca cashback amount is usually lower say 1% – 3%. There have been times when the cash back amount can be as much as 10%.

2. Book A Service

If you’re planning to spend a lot during the Spring Sale, you should consider booking a service at Sephora which requires a minimum spend. That way, you can get some pampering or a makeover done in addition to getting a nice discount from the Spring Sale.

During Sephora’s holiday sales last year, I booked a few Skin Fit Oxygenating Facials as I had planned purchases exceeding the minimum amount for the service ($75). Available at select Sephora locations only, the Skin Fit facial includes a customized peel, mask and hydrating oxygen-infused facial. Other Sephora services which require minimum spends are the Glamover (minimum $90 spend) and Full Face Application Makeover (minimum $50 spend).

3. Restock on Old Faves

It’s a good time to review your skincare routine and use the Spring Sale to stock up on products that you are using regularly.

One of the items that I love and need to get more of is the Fresh Rose Hydrating Eye Gel Cream. Check out my review here.

4. Splurge (at a Discount)

Have you been eyeing some luxury skincare or makeup products but haven’t made the move to spend that much money? Well, now’s a good time to reconsider especially with a discount.

5. Know the Limitations

According to the terms and conditions of the sale, “clients are limited to the purchase of one Dyson item, three Drunk Elephant items, three Tatcha items, and five Morphe items per SKU per transaction.”

I personally love Tatcha products and plan to use the Spring Sale to get a few things that I have been eyeing. On my list is Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA, The Dewy Skin Cream and Luminous Dewy Skin Night Concentrate.

6. Try Out the Products You’re Not Sure About Before Buying

If you’re not too sure about a product, visit a Sephora location to either get samples or try the product in store. Feel free to connect with a Beauty Advisor in store for advice.

7. Avoid Line-ups

I have personally witnessed very long checkout lineups in store at Sephora during their seasonal sales. If you’re not into lining up, consider buying online or visiting the store right when they open.
