San FranciscoRestaurant Week 2023 Restaurant Highlights
Here are a few restaurant menus that have caught our eye.
54Mint San Francisco
54Mint San Francisco is offering $30 lunch and $65 dinner menus.

La Mar
The Bay Area’s premier Peruvian restaurant, La Mar, is inviting guests to join them for lunch or dinner to celebrate the City’s vast culinary scene. La Mar, located at Pier 1 ½ on the Embarcadero, showcases authentic, upscale cuisine and pisco-centric cocktails in a vibrant, modern space with two distinctive bars – including newly opened La Mar Bar – and a waterfront patio.
La Mar’s Restaurant Week Lunch Menu ($30 per person) offers a two-course meal with starters like the Nigiri Anticuchero with salmon belly, anticuchero sauce, avocado and leche de tigre and Chicken Empanadas with chicken, Aji Amarillo and Polleria sauce. The second course includes dishes such as a classic Lomo Saltado, a Peruvian style beef tenderloin with tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, soy and oyster sauce, potatoes, and rice, as well as vegetarian options Berenjena Criolla, a fried eggplant served on lima beans puree, glazed with manjo and Aji Amarillo chutney with herb salad.

The dinner menu entices guests to join for a three-course feast ($75 per person) starting with the Duo La Mar, a dish with ahi tuna cebiche, sunchoke leche de tigre, artichoke chips and Maine scallop with Santa Barbara uni served with aji amarillo sauce. The second course is the Pescado A Lo Macho with halibut, macho sauce, clams, squid and shrimp. The dinner is complete with La Mar’s Citrus and Cream, torched seasonal citrus, blood orange coulis, olive oil panna cotta, basil granita, crunchy walnuts and quebranta pisco ice cream.
