We had a fun time visiting Popbar Concord at The Veranda in Concord California for some customizable, handcrafted gelatos on a stick.
Popbar specializes in gelato, sorbet, and frozen yogurt on a stick. Flavors range from classics like chocolate and vanilla to passion fruit, green tea, birthday cake, banana pudding, and more. Choose a pop and then a dip and topping to your liking.
Their custom bar includes 15+ toppings including milk, dark and white chocolate; crushed nuts; waffle cone; sprinkles, caramel corn and more.
They offer vegan, gluten-free, nut-free flavors, and have a variety of other treats as well -like gelatoShakes, Hot Chocolate on a Stick, wafflePops, and so forth.
We got the iced latte gelato in a s’more version and the lavender gelato with hazelnuts and a milk chocolate drizzle. Both were delicious! The lavender gelato had a beautiful floral flavour.
A popgelato starts at $4.99. Unlimited dippings +$0.50 and unlimited toppings are +$0.50. Make it a s’more for +$0.75.
The Veranda has a great IMAX movie theater… Popbar is a great place for a treat before or after!
Popbar is more of a grab and go sort of place. There is no seating inside the shop but there are a few tables just outside.
It can be tough to find parking right in front of the Popbar Concord since The Veranda is so busy. We managed to find parking just a bit further away within the plaza.
