There’s a delicious spot located at SFU’s Cornerstone Mews where you can enjoy quality, delicious, casual Vietnamese fare at reasonable prices.

Pho 99 was originally founded in 1999 becoming a popular chain throughout the Lower Mainland and the US.
In 2019, Pho 99 opened up an outpost at SFU and two former employees and brothers who had worked at a Pho 99 location part-time while being students at SFU had taken over as the owners of the SFU location 2022.
While there are many locations of Pho 99, each is independently owned and operated. Hence, the flavour of the Pho served at each location are somewhat different, reflecting the cooking style of each outpost’s Chef.
The brothers have worked tirelessly to create a better dining experience at Pho 99 SFU including upgrading and improving recipes; enhancing customer service; and sourcing high-quality ingredients for their recipes. Their broth is MSG – free!

We really enjoyed the deep, rich flavourful MSG-free broths in the noodle bowls. The smokey rib pho which is a unique and special offering features perfectly fall-off the bone tender ribs and it’s only $20.99 which is an incredible deal. The salad roll and fried rolls were also perfectly executed. I also loved the grilled pork chop and chicken rice plate with nicely, flavoured and tender meats.
Pho 99 has a spacious, modern and clean interior that is warm and inviting.
