Oshi Nori is a new handroll bar which has opened up in Vancouver. They are a sister restaurant to Craffles, a breakfast restaurant in Downtown Vancouver.

On the menu are appetizers; sashimi; donburi; aburi oshi sushi; rolled sushi; desserts and more. They also have a cocktails menu.

At the beginning, I was presented with a hot towel as well as some ginger and wasabi.

I went with their 5 Oshi Nori Rolls set $36 which included:
- Spicy Lobster with tobiko and bonito
- Unagi with housemade tamago, rice pearls, tare
- King Salmon with ikura and scallions
- Negitoro with unagi sauce and crispy shallots
- Aburi King Salmon with serrano and tare

What makes some of Oshi Nori’s rolls unique is that they take more liberties in adding toppings to the rolls. Also, the rolls I tried were kind of more like a taco with the nori in more of triangular wrap rather than a cone. My set of 5 rolls was $36 and it was reasonable.
I had a nice time at Oshi Nori trying out their rolls. They are currently in their soft opening phase and opening just for dinner. They will be opening for lunch in the future.

Oshi Nori is located at 1055 Mainland Street, Vancouver.
