A new tea and dessert shop has opened up in Richmond! Meet On-Yon Tea & Desserts (揚茗) located in the Phase 2 part of Parker Place.
On-Yon Tea & Desserts is owned and operated by Vien, who is also the Head Baker. Vien passion started out as an at-home venture and has now become a brick-and-mortar shop.
For drinks they have bubble tea as well as fruit-based dessert drinks. You will also find mille crêpe cakes in options like taro, strawberry, matcha and more. These cakes use premium ingredients including organic milk, eggs and sugar.
I tried the Tiramisu and the Hokkaido Milk flavours. I found that mille crêpe cakes were expertly crafted and have perfect layers of paper-thin crêpes, separated by light pastry cream.
I also had the Mango Paradise with mango, organic milk, organic milk pudding and coconut juice.
The space has some cozy seating for you to enjoy your treats.
