New Year’s Eve San Francisco 2023 and Day Brunch 2024

This list is not exhaustive and is updated as information becomes available. I try to feature as much as I can but certainly this is not all that is out there. If your favorite restaurant is not on the list, contact them to see what they are offering.

Sons & Daughters

Michelin-starred Sons & Daughters, located in the quaint San Francisco neighborhood of Nob Hill will be offering two different experiences from Executive Chef Harrison Cheney and the team. Sons & Daughters features an 18-serving tasting menu inspired by new Nordic flavors and is anchored in classic techniques and the seasonality of Northern California. The New Year’s Weekend and New Year’s Eve dinners will showcase the best of the winter season, and include a welcome glass of Champagne and a course of Caviar Perlita from Nouvelle-Aquitain for all guests. From Friday, December 29 to Friday, December 30, the New Year’s Weekend tasting menu is $295 per person. On Sunday, December 31, the New Year’s Eve tasting menu is $375 per person.  Reservations are available now on Tock at 5:30pm, 6:00pm, 8:30pm, and 9:00pm.

Press Club

Oenophiles and revelers can ring in 2024 with Press Club on Sunday, December 31 with a festive New Year’s Eve Bash from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  at Union Square’s favorite wine bar. A chic, subterranean urban lounge located on Yerba Buena Lane, Press Club features a selection of sustainably produced, certified organic, and biodynamic wineries, hard-to-find varietals and Champagnes, and beers in a sophisticated, sleek setting.

Get ready to dance! Press Club will welcome DJ Jerry Ross, who will get the crowd moving with hip-hop, top 40, EDM, 2000’s, throwbacks, and anthem beats up until the Champagne toast at midnight.

Be ready to celebrate with party favors galore! NYE hats, tiaras, glasses, horns, noisemakers, and more will be provided so partygoers can accessorize their ensemble. Press Club will be decked out with festive decor, lots of shiny things, and a balloon arch for photo opps.

Each guest will receive one drink ticket and a sparkling toast at midnight. Early bird tickets are $40, pricing will be $50 per person starting on December 24 and at the door. A limited number of VIP tables will be reserved for bottle service and table reservations.

Foliage

At the newly opened Foliage in San Francisco’s Precita Park neighborhood, Chef Mo Béjar is driven by perfecting classic techniques and celebrating seasonal ingredients. Chef has created a celebratory five-course prix fixe menu for Sunday, December 31 from 5:00pm to 10:30pm, which features Northern California ingredients and classic flavors of the season. Please see the menu below, which includes snacks and supplement additions:

  • Snacks: Pickled Celery Root Taco with yellowtail, oyster, dashi gélee, and smoked crème fraiche & chive oil; and Kabocha Squash Croquettes with cascabel pepper & cashew; 
  • First Course: Crab Tartare with green apple, ginger, cucumber, finger lime & crème fraiche on a rice chip; 
  • Second Course: Shrimp & Potato Toast with ikura and burnt lime aioli; 
  • Third Course: Cacio e Pepe Tagliatelle (truffle supplement: $24); 
  • Fourth Course: Braised Beef Cheek with porridge, horseradish, beef fat hollandaise, porcini and leek dust served with charred onion consommé; 
  • Fifth Course: Mont Blanc (chestnut, vanilla and meringue); and Additions: 1 oz Caviar Service with Johnny Cakes, pickled shallot, cured egg yolk, crème fraiche ($60); Chicken Liver Mousse with allium jam and piccalilli ($24); and/or Brie with citrus chutney and baguette ($13)

Kiln

Kiln is offering a New Year’s weekend tasting menu. Priced at $315 per person. 

Californios

Californios is offering a New Year’s Eve early seating winter menu. Priced at $417 per person. Featuring wines from the Champagne region in France. They are also offering a New Year’s Eve late seating winter menu. Priced at $450 per person. Featuring wines from the Champagne region in France.

Birdsong

Birdsong is offering a New Year’s Eve bash – early seating at the Chef’s table. Priced at $355 per person. Late seating priced at $425 per person. 

LUCE Restaurant

LUCE Restaurant is offering a New Year’s Eve first seating special menu. Priced at $165 per person. 

LUCE Restaurant is offering a New Year’s Eve second seating special menu. Priced at $285 per person. After dinner party will include hors d’oeuvres, welcome glass of Champagne, and Midnight Toast featuring Taittinger Champagne.

LUCE Restaurant is offering a New Year’s Eve reception. Priced at $120 per person. With DJ, dancing, hors d’oeuvres, and featuring Champagne from Taittinger.

El Lopo

El Lopo is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Priced at $75 per person and includes four rounds of shareable small plates for the table. 

Persona

Persona is offering New Year’s Eve reservations.

Acquerello

Acquerello is offering a New Year’s Eve 6-course tasting dinner menu. Priced at $350 per person. Regular menus will not be available. Optional wine pairing will be offered to complement this menu.

They are also offering a New Year’s Eve late night celebration. Priced at $300 for two person. Includes small bites, one ounce of Caviar, a half bottle Champagne, and sweet treats.

Osito

Osito is offering a New Year’s Eve reservation from 6pm – 9pm. Priced at $395 per person. They are also offering a New Year’s Eve party from 9:30 pm -1 am. Priced at $200 per person. 

Lord Stanley

Lord Stanley is offering a New Year’s Eve 4-course and 6-course menu. Priced at $100-$178 per person.

Mister Jiu’s

Mister Jiu’s is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting dinner menu. Priced at $185 per person. 

Anomaly SF

Anomaly SF is offering a New Year’s Eve reservation. Priced at $160 per person. Corkage fee is $60 per 750ml bottle.

Yokai

Yokai is offering a New Year’s Eve five-course menu. Priced at $250 per person. Highlights include caviar, truffles, lobster and charcoal-roasted beef. 

Saison

Saison is offering a New Year’s Eve early seating tasting menu in the dining room. Priced at $428 per person not inclusive of beverages, 20% service, sales tax. 

They are also offering a New Year’s Eve late seating tasting menu in the dining room. Priced at $498 per person not inclusive of beverages, 20% service, sales tax.  

SSAL

SSAL is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Priced at $395 per person. 

Atelier Crenn 

This December, in addition to three Michelin-starred renowned chef Dominique Crenn’s seasonal 13-course tasting menu, Atelier Crenn is offering a holiday menu that includes a festive upgrade of Champagne, truffles, and chocolates by Chef Juan Contreras. Book Atelier Crenn reservations here.

Bar Crenn

Caviar & Bubbles Soirée for New Year’s | Saturday, December 30th | 6:00 p.m. Bar Crenn will also host a glamorous New Year’s celebration where Champagne will pop, caviar will bump, and vinyl records will spin. Deborah Keane,  the “Caviar Queen”, will serve her luxurious California Caviar, alongside Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame and Krug Champagne. Bar Crenn will be unveiling its new martini luge to put the icing on top of the evening. Tickets for the event are $495 per person, please click HERE to reserve. Petit Crenn

Truffle Dinners | Saturday, December 16th to Saturday, December 30th. Chef Dominique Crenn has crafted a unique black and white truffle tasting experience to celebrate ultra-fragrant aroma and distinct flavors of truffles. Guests will indulge in a multi-course menu that highlights freshly imported, in-season truffles that are at their peak flavor this time of year. Tickets for the dinners are $495 per person. Lauren Perrier Dinner | Thursday, December 28th | 6:00 p.m. Enjoy a five-course tasting menu created by Chef Crenn, each perfectly paired with a cuvée from Champagne Laurent-Perrier, including a Champagne reception. The House of Laurent-Perrier has been crafting fresh and elegant champagnes for over 200 years. Nestled in the Grand Cru village of Tours-sur-Marne, the House is family- and female-run, fiercely independent, and focused exclusively on champagne. Nisei is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Priced at $275 per person. Ingredients like: King Crab legs, truffles, caviar and of course champagne.

Eight Tables

Eight Tables is offering a New Year’s lunch menu. Priced at $290 per person. They are also offering a New Year’s Eve menu. Priced at $325 per person. 

Sorrel

Sorrel is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Priced at $395 per person. 

ittoryu GOZU

ittoryu GOZU is offering a New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Priced at $395 per person. The nine course menu will feature rare Champagne, caviar, California sea life, truffles, and privately farmed Japanese beef.

3rd Cousin

3rd Cousin is offering a New Year’s Eve 6-course tasting menu indoor seating. Priced at $175 per person. 

Madcap

Madcap is offering New Year’s Eve weekend reservations. 

Navio
