National Whiskey Day in New York

Here are a few spots in New York to sip on cocktails and celebrate National Whiskey Day (March 27).

Blu on the Hudson

Blu on the Hudson, a modern American restaurant with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline that brings a New York City-style dining experience to the waterfront in Weehawken, New Jersey, offers one-of-a-kind cocktail list curated by Beverage Director Jeremy LeBlanche (formerly Thyme Bar, The Gibson in London, and German Gymnasium in London), has conceptualized a stand-out cocktail program.

Destinations For National Whiskey Day

Blu’s cocktail, The Dual, features Angel Envy Bourbon, Rémy Martin 1738, Laphroaig 10years, Smoked maple syrup and Peychaud Bitter. It is a reimagined rendition of the classic Old Fashioned/Sazerac as it transcends tradition by introducing layers of smoky nuances, spicy undertones, and hints of leather and tobacco.

Casa Bond

Casa Bond, a new Mexican restaurant with Tulum-inspired vibes on the Bowery, serves refined classic fair that focuses on the best regional dishes from the Mexican Riviera to the mountains of Sinaloa and Central Mexico.

Destinations For National Whiskey Day

Managing Partner and Mixologist Luis Villanueva has developed a creative cocktail list, which highlights the Señor Bond, for National Whiskey Day; it is an elegant andperfectly balanced cocktail that can be enjoyed by even the most discerning whiskey enthusiasts. Señor Bond features Woodford Reserve infused bourbon, aged barrel aromatic bitters, smoked maple and amarena cherries.
