Restaurants across the city are featuring seasonal menus with fresh ingredients, thoughtful mains, and desserts to finish. From casual brunches to more refined dinner options, here’s a look at what’s being served this year.

Cesar’s in Chicago is hosting a Mother’s Day Mercado Pop-Up on Saturday, May 10 from 1 PM to 4 PM at 2924 N Broadway. The free, all-ages event features handcrafted gifts, local treats, self-care items, and margaritas. Reservations are encouraged.
Vinci in Lincoln Park is offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet on Sunday, May 11 from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. The $42 adult and $22 child buffet includes appetizers like poached shrimp, cheese plate, and meatballs; a dessert station with tiramisu, mini cannolis, panna cotta, and chocolate cake; and a choice of one main dish such as banana-stuffed French toast, grilled salmon, chicken saltimbocca, or hand-made ravioli. Pricing excludes tax and gratuity.
the Albert at Hotel EMC2 in Chicago is offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 11 AM to 2 PM for $60 per person. The menu includes an antipasti buffet, main courses such as herb-crusted ribeye and lemon ricotta pancakes, and a sweets table featuring cakes, cannoli, and hazelnut mousse.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in Oak Brook, Schaumburg, and Vernon Hills will open early at 11 AM on Mother’s Day, May 11. A featured dine-in and to-go special for $49 per person includes a 10 oz. Filet Stuffed Roast filled with sautéed spinach, wild mushrooms, garlic, onions, herbs, and three cheeses, topped with Truffle Merlot Demiglace. Guests can also order the Sunday Supper special for $49, which includes a choice of soup or salad, Perry’s Famous Pork Chop, and dessert or a side. Brunch cocktails are available from 11 AM to 4 PM at $14 each. Perry’s full menu will be available for dine-in but not for to-go orders.
Eden will serve a garden-inspired à la carte brunch from 10 AM to 3 PM, with specials like Gluten-Free Quinoa Pancakes, Shrimp & Grits, and Crab Louise Salad. Guests can pre-order spring bouquets for the table starting at $25.
Gavroche in Old Town will offer a French-inspired brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM with dishes such as Foie French Toast, Coq au Vin Croissant, and Fried Chicken Clafoutis. Walk-ins are welcome; reservations accepted for groups of four or more.
Gene & Georgetti will serve a Mother’s Day brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM featuring classic steakhouse fare, seafood towers, Garganelli con Sugo, and Gene’s Steak & Eggs. Dinner service will follow in the evening.
Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago is hosting a Mom & Me Afternoon Tea on May 10 and 11 from 1 PM to 4 PM for $69 per person, featuring finger sandwiches, scones, pastries, and a roaming bubbly cart.
State and Lake Chicago Tavern at theWit Hotel will offer a $60 brunch buffet from 10 AM to 2 PM, with options like smoked salmon Benedict, mini lobster rolls, and herb-crusted ribeye. Each guest will receive a rose upon arrival.
Spa@theWit is offering Mother’s Day spa treatments, including HydraFacials, Apricot Dipped Massages, and Restorative Body Treatments, with gift cards available for purchase.
