Mosaic Grille & Bar Business Lunch Vancouver BC [Review]

We recently tried out the Business Lunch menu at Mosaic Grille & Bar at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver (BC Canada) and really enjoyed it!

For $32 per person, you get one starter and one main dish. Starter options include Tomato Bisque; Mosaic Seafood Chowder; Kale Salad and Garden Salad. For mains, you can choose from Asian Chicken Salad; Cobb Salad; Mosaic Burger; Prawn Linguini; Butter Chicken and Buddha Bowl.

There were 3 of us and we went with the following starters: Tomato Bisque (with grilled ciabatta, chives, parmesan); Mosaic Seafood Chowder (with BC fish, clams, mussels, fennel, croutons, chive oil); and Garden Salad (with mixed greens with a house dressing).

For entrees, we had the Mosaic Burger (8 oz sterling silver beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cheddar cheese, power sauce, brioche bun); Prawn Linguini (Ocean wise prawns, sundried tomato, chili flake,
Lemon, caper, grana padano, white wine base); and Butter Chicken (turmeric rice, pistachio, raita, grilled naan bread).

The dishes were beautifully presented and had lots of fresh, quality ingredients. The Mosaic Seafood Chowder was my favourite starter which some quality ingredients incorporated. I loved the Prawn Linguini – it was perfect. The white sauce was tasty and I loved the addition of sundried tomatoes and capers. The Butter Chicken had a nice presentation and had mild flavours. The Mosaic Burger was also good with a juicy, meaty patty. The dishes seemed pretty reasonable overall for a $32 lunch in a hotel restaurant in Downtown Vancouver.
