MIMI Chinese

Located at 1575 Alton Rd, Miami Beach, MIMI Chinese is set to open in November 2024, bringing a modern take on traditional Chinese cuisine to South Beach. Created by Toronto-based Big Hug Hospitality, the group behind Toronto’s beloved Sunny’s Chinese, MIMI Chinese is their first international expansion. Culinary Director David Schwartz, who won the 2023 Michelin Guide Young Chef Award, and Executive Chef Braden Chong are leading the team. Expect diverse regional Chinese dishes, a curated selection of wines, cocktails, and sake.

Japón at The Setai Miami Beach

Opening October 1, 2024, Japón will offer an immersive experience of Japan’s culinary traditions, led by Executive Chef Vijayudu Veena and Executive Sous Chef Iván Monzón. Situated at The Setai Miami Beach, 2001 Collins Ave, Japón complements the hotel’s existing South Asian concepts, Jaya and Ocean Grill. The restaurant will feature an extensive selection of rare sakes and a premium wine list, along with a mix of indoor and outdoor dining spaces, plus a private dining room for special occasions.

RosaNegra

RosaNegra Group, one of Mexico’s premier hospitality groups, is set to open its first U.S. outpost, RosaNegra this October at the former SLS Brickell, now Dua Miami Hotel. Known for its elevated Latin American cuisine combined with high-energy entertainment, this expansion brings the group’s passion for eclectic flavors and vibrant ambiance to Miami. Helmed by Executive Chef Omar Martinez, the new venue will offer brand-new dishes, a new cocktail program only available at this location, and an exceptional wine list, including a curated selection of Mexican wines. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the restaurant’s innovative spaces, featuring the iconic bar counter framed by captivating art that distinguishes all of RosaNegra’s locations.

Casa Gianna

Opening in October 2024 at 601 NE 1st Ave, Casa Gianna will provide an all-day Italian dining experience. Located within the Gale Miami Hotel & Residences, this restaurant offers everything from morning coffee to evening cocktails. Executive Chef David Caceres brings a contemporary twist to traditional Italian fare, featuring artisanal pizza, pasta, and an innovative Aperitivo Hour. The restaurant offers a variety of dining settings, including a welcoming indoor dining room and a lush outdoor Piazza, making Casa Gianna the perfect spot to enjoy modernized Italian classics.

Marion Miami

Marion Miami is reopening on September 19, 2024, after a $4 million renovation. Located at 1111 SW 1st Ave, this Brickell hotspot has been transformed with a fresh, modern look, blending nostalgic charm with sleek sophistication. The revamped menu, crafted by Executive Chef Kylian Goussot, focuses on a fusion of Asian-Mediterranean flavors. New additions include an impressive Dom Pérignon Champagne display and a Tequila Room showcasing over 300 premium bottles. Whether you’re here for dinner or the vibrant nightlife, Marion offers a seamless experience from start to finish.
