Here are a few restaurant menus that have caught our eye.

Serena

Serena at Moxy South Beach will jump in with a plentiful three-course prix-fixe menu of some of their most popular dishes for both weekday lunch and dinner. With a breezy covered rooftop setting and a menu that channels the enchanting dining of Oaxaca and Mexico City, Serena offers one of South Beach’s best Miami Spice options.

Novecento

Novecento, with locations in Aventura, Doral and Brickell, will be offering a lunch and dinner menu throughout August and September for Argentinean cuisine lovers! For only $30, Miami Spice diners can enjoy delicious and fresh empanadas or mejillones for lunch to start followed by Choripan, a Hamburger or Milanese with a Key Lime Pie or their popular Dulce de Leche Crepes to follow. 

The Deck at Island Gardens

Miami’s most treasured waterfront restaurant The Deck at Island Gardens is serving up a three-course Miami Spice dinner menu that blends delightful seafood bites with stunning views and live entertainment. Guests can relax in a relaxing cabana while enjoying a choice of appetizers: Octopus Ceviche, served with roasted boniatos and passion fruit leche de tigre; Beef Carpaccio, topped with crispy capers; or Tuna Tartare. The main course includes a choice of Branzino A La Plancha, with green olive and white bean salad; Roasted Top Sirloin, topped with spiced chimichurri; or white truffle Lobster Ravioli. To sweeten the meal, dessert features the House Signature Nemesis Cake, a flourless chocolate cake with red wine gel and edible 24-karat gold. 

Negroni Bistro & Sushi Bar

Negroni Bistro & Sushi Bar, Midtown Miami’s urban-chic Latin American and Nikkei hot spot, is serving up two exclusive menus for Miami Spice this year. Weekend brunch lovers can choose from four appetizers, including Ceviche Classic and Wagyu Empanada; four entrées, such as Truffle Eggs and New Avocado Toast; and two desserts, Choco Negroni or Coconut Flan. For dinner, guests can choose from starters, including Eggplant Burrata and Scallops Parmigiana, and entrées such as Stuffed Gnocchi and Short Ribs Risotto. Dinner dessert options include Coconut Flan and Cheesecake Brûlée.

KAO Sushi & Grill

KAO Sushi & Grill, the premier Argentine, Peruvian and Japanese fusion restaurant on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, has great options on its Miami Spice menus. For lunch ($30), guests can start with a choice of Citrus & Walnut Salad, Pork Buns or Sweet & Spicy Edamame. For the main course, options range from the hearty Pork Ramen with tonkotsu broth to the delectable Summer Sushi Combo, consisting of 12 pieces of sushi crafted by the chef. The menu also includes the enticing KAO Chicken and the flavorful Shrimp Chaufa Rice Wok. To conclude the meal, guests can savor the luscious 4 Leches or indulge in the traditional Argentinian Flan. The $35 menu builds upon the $30 offer, granting diners the choice of a glass of wine or beer to accompany their meal. The dinner menu ncludes a choice of a starter, such as the tantalizing Chorizo Buns, the zesty White Fish Ceviche or the flavorful Tango Sliders. Main course options range from the freshly prepared Poke Bowl to the Grilled Branzino. Alternatively, guests can choose two full sushi rolls from the chef’s selection or the Kao Wok, featuring chicken or beef, vegetables, rice, and KAO sauce. Dessert offerings include 4 Leches and traditional Argentinian Flan. To elevate their experience, guests can participate in the $60 menu, which comes with two glasses of prosecco, beer, or sake or a glass of house white or red wine.

Italica Midtown

Italica Midtown is adding a modern and colorful twist to traditional Italian cuisine this Miami Spice season. To the backdrop of the customized spritz bar and wood-fired pizza ovens, the Italian Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is serving a special weekend brunch and daily dinner package. Each three-course menu features four carefully chosen appetizers, four entrées and two delicious desserts. For brunch, kick off with Carciofi (grilled artichoke hearts) before moving on to Caprese Grilled Cheese or any of Italica’s Pizza Classicas, including Margherita, Parmigiana, and 4 Formaggi. End with creamy Affogato or Italian Gelato. Dinner guests can choose from appetizers such as Carpaccio Di Salmone and Mussels Alla Italiana, entrées such as Truffle Risotto Caccio Pepe and Pappardelle Al Sugo, and desserts such as Italica Lava Cake with Aperol orange reduction and prosecco gelato or Affogato with espresso.

MARKET at EDITION at The Miami Beach EDITION 

The Miami Beach EDITION is giving you a reason to celebrate with a specialty Miami Spice menu offered at the reinvented coffee shop, MARKET at EDITION.

Beginning August through September from 12PM-closing, enjoy a carefully crafted three course lunch starting with a choice of the famed Green Chickpea Hummus or the classic Crispy Salmon Sushi.

Following the first course, choose between the Truffle & Fontina Cheese Pizza, Caio e Pepe, or a fresh Kale Salad. Close out the meal with a Key Lime Tart or Toasted Marshmallow Cake for the grand finale. 

Lunch will be offered daily at $35pp. 

Inspired by the great century-old markets of San Miguel in Madrid and La Boqueria in Barcelona, MARKET at EDITION’s menu is a quick snapshot of the senses from Michelin star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Lido Bayside Grill at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach 

Soak in the Miami Summer, with Lido Bayside Grill’s exclusive Miami Spice menu, located at the waterfront oasis, The Standard Spa, Miami Beach.

With a carefully curated Miami Spice lunch and dinner menu, guests can enjoy the laid-back atmosphere while savoring in delicious plates inspired by coastal cuisines. 

Helmed by a talented team of chefs, the lunch menu offers a three-course meal, beginning with the choice of Whipped Feta, Cauliflower Wings, or Hummus served with raw Crudités.

For the second course, indulge in a traditional Paella, Mata Hari, or a Vegan Cesar salad.

End the meal on a sweet note with a twist on a Miami favorite, Guava Key Lime Tart or a decadent Chocolate Brownie a la mode. 

Sit under the Miami twinkling stars for a speciality Miami Spice dinner menu featuring Hummus served with raw Crudités or tasty Crab Cakes for the first course.

For the main course, guests can choose from the Chicken Milanese, rich Mushroom Risotto, or the seared Salmon.

Baia Beach Club at Mondrian South Beach

Mondrian South Beach invites you to dine in style at the tropical waterfront oasis, Baia Beach Club during this year’s Miami Spice.

Enjoy a Mediterranean-inspired, multi-course tasting menu curated with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, while overlooking breathtaking views of the Magic City.

First course includes light options such as the Signature Hummus; Gem Salad made with fresh seasonal ingredients; or Galician Octopus seasoned to perfection with hints of paprika, red pepper jam and lime.

Following the first course, choose from an array of delectable entrees like the Faroe Island Salmon, Lamb Ragu sided with a delightful linguini or Hanger Steak, to be enjoyed with a savory chimichurri sauce.

For a sweet finalé, enjoy Catalana, a sweet symphony of vanilla custard, caramelized sugar and fresh berries or a decadent Oreo Cheesecake. 

Locals and guests can savor these Chef-curated creations for $60pp.

Artisan Beach House at The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour

Dine in luxury this Miami Spice with an exquisite, chef-curated menu at Artisan Beach House, the coastal-inspired waterfront restaurant located at The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour. 

Start lunch off with an alluring selection of appetizers including a fresh Gem salad, flavor-bursting Andalusian Gaspacho, or Cod Fish Buñuelo, prepared fresh with blonde frissee, baby arugula, cherry heirloom tomato Salad and citrus aioli.

For the main course, guests can choose between savory favorites like the Angus Patty Burger, Traditional Cubano Sandwich or beautifully prepared Pan Seared Snapper.

End lunch on a sweet note and indulge in the Caramel Flan or the Mocha Créme Brulee. Lunch is $35 per person, available Sunday-Thursday. 

When the night falls and dinner is served, pamper your palate with a delectable appetizer such as the Escalivada Vegetable Flat Bread, Roasted Garden Beets & Heirloom Tomato Salad or the Pulpo a la Gallega, a truly tantalizing dish starring Spanish octopus and confit potato.

After an indulgent appetizer, enjoy the Grill Jumbo Shrimp, sided with rigatoni pasta; Organic Roasted Chicken Breast, perfectly paired with sweet potato gratin and grilled asparagus; or the Pan Seared Striped Bass, divinely accompanied by fennel citrus salad, tricolor cauliflower escabeche and green peas puree.

Fuego y Mar at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach

Fuego y Mar, the signature, vibrant Latin American restaurant located at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach invites guests and locals to celebrate this Miami Spice with an elevated lunch & dinner menu.

Enjoy a decadent lunch beginning with homemade guacamole and warm corn tortilla chips followed by an Iron Pressed Sourdough Sandwich lovingly crafted with sauteed wild mushrooms, double cream brie cheese, baby spinach and delicious house made berry jam.

To satisfy your sweet tooth, indulge in the Key West Citrus Tart, a sweet yet tangy treat composed of key lime curd, graham tart & meringue crisp. 

Lunch is $35 per person. 

For dinner, guests can savor a delectable Chilled Yellow Tomato Gazpacho, prepared beautifully with ciabatta bruschetta, honey goat cheese, shaved celery, manchego cheese emulsion, and white anchovies.

Following an indulgent appetizer, enjoy the Saffron & Seafood Linguine featuring fresh clams, mussels, wild shrimps, calamari, saffron reduction & squid ink linguine.

End the day on a sweet note with the Baked Guava Cheesecake, a sweet symphony of guava, graham crust and whipped ganache.

Hoja Taqueria at Generator Miami

Hoja Taqueria, the authentic Oaxacan-inspired eatery located inside Generator Miami invites you to dine with an exclusive Mexican- flavored Miami Spice lunch menu.

Hoja Taqueria offers something special to the market as the ethos of the entire restaurant is centered on respecting one of the most precious ingredients in Mexican culture: corn.

Start lunch off with your choice of fresh Shrimp Ceviche, Sweet Potato Tostada or Mexican Corn, a local favorite perfectly seasoned with chipotle aioli and cotija cheese.

27 Restaurant & Bar at Freehand Miami

From the mind of James Beard nominated Chef Jimmy Lebron, 27 Restaurant & Bar, located inside the beloved Freehand Hotel presents an elevated Miami Spice dinner menu.

With a unique specialty of fusing classic favorites with exciting new flavors and utilizing fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, 27 Restaurant & Bar is a Miami culinary staple.

Indulge in an irresistible selection of appetizers like the Avocado Salad, Oyster Mushrooms, or 27’s speciality, Griot & Pikliz.

With tasty entrees like Carbonara, Kimchi Fried Rice and slow-roasted Short Rib, Chef Jimmy’s inventive take on traditional dishes is truly tantalizing. Finish an exquisite meal on a sweet note with your choice of Tres Leches, Panna Cotta, or S’mores Mousse. Dinner is $50 per person, offered Sunday- Wednesday 6-11pm.

Katsuya at SLS South Beach 

This Miami Spice experience the dynamic pairing of master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi and design impresario Philippe Starck at Katsuya, nestled in the iconic SLS South Beach.

Where to Celebrate Miami Spice This Year

With specialty cocktails, unique rolls and spectacular sushi and sashimi platters, Chef Uechi skillfully translates Japanese flavors for the American palate.

During Miami’s renowned restaurant month, embark on a culinary journey with appetizing starters like the Truffle Ponzu Ceviche, Szechuan Ribs, Hokkaido Scallop Tirado or Assorted Crispy Rice.

Then, indulge in a main course like the Wagyu Skirt Steak topped with Yakitori sauce, the succulent Ora King Salmon Robata, or the Braised Short Rib Fried Rice made with jidori egg yolk, fried scallions and sujikon.

A Fish Called Avalon

A Fish Called Avalon in South Beach provides diners a robust, award winning seafood focused menu. It is located in the iconic deco Avalon Hotel and along Miami Beach’s renowned Ocean Drive. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Kal Abdalla, who previously helmed the kitchen at Miami’s The Forge Restaurant from 1984 to 2004.

Rum Room

Rum Room has quickly become a gastronomic haven since its grand opening in May 2023, seamlessly blending Miami-inspired dishes with a distinct Caribbean influence. During Miami Spice, you can embark on a flavor-filled journey with Rum Room’s three-course meals priced at $35 for lunch/brunch and $45 for dinner.

Indulge in a vibrant selection of appetizers, enticing main courses, and delectable desserts. The lunch menu features mouthwatering options like Serrano Ham Croquettes, Ropa Vieja Empanadas, and vegan-friendly Sofrito Meat”less” Balls. For dinner, tempt your taste buds with starters like Fish Dip Nachos and Grilled Octopus, followed by irresistible main courses such as Chimichurri Skirt Steak and Roasted Airline Chicken Breast. Don’t forget to leave room for our delightful desserts, including Pineapple Upside-Down Rum Cake and Coffee Bean Lava Cake.

Gitano Miami

Transport to Tulum without ever leaving the 305 this Miami Spice at Gitano Miami Beach.

A tropical oasis of lush greenery and bohemian brio inspired by the deep jungles of Mexico, Gitano creates the perfect escape from the bustling city scene.

Indulge in a delectable three-course menu of rich, authentic Mexican flavors served with a modern twist this restaurant week, beginning  the culinary journey with inviting appetizers such as a refreshing Heirloom Tomato & Watermelon Salad, Slow Roasted Lamb Birria, or a Hiramassa Tostada with avocado, habanero carawayl aioli and salsa macha.

Continue with vibrant main course dishes including Mushroom Mole Manchamanteles featuring cashew, chipotle butter and chile pasilla, a Memela Prime Rib Eye or Lubina Fish.

Finish the evening with playful postres highlighting rich Cazuela De Chocolate or a divine chef’s selection of cookies.

Chef Niven Signature Dining Experience Debut at Orno 

Miami New Times Best New Restaurant, Orno at THesis Hotel in Coral Gables, will be showcasing its first Brunch and Lunch ($35) menu and Signature Dining Experience ($95) alongside a delectable Dinner ($60) menu for the annual Miami Spice.

What’s New to Miami Spice 2023: Chef’s Favorite at MaryGold’s Florida Brasserie, Alfresco Weekend Brunch at Italica and More

Orno is a modern restaurant with an open-kitchen concept, helmed by 5x James Beard Nominee and Food & Wine’s Best New Chef of 2020, Chef Niven Patel.

The restaurant offers guests a true, farm-to-table experience using locally sourced ingredients from Chef Patel’s very own farm, Rancho Patel and consists of New American cuisine featuring the finest selection of meats and seafood.

This year, Orno and Chef Niven will present the ultimate Signature Dining Experience with specially coursed out selections to take Miami Spice diners on a culinary journey.

The menu starts with an amuse of Daily Oyster topped with fresh mignonette and a chili cocktail sauce to awaken the taste buds.

The first course presents a Chilled Corn Bisque with crispy black eyed peas and chow chow.

For the second course, guests will find the Zucchini Chitarra with zucchini pesto, confit tomatoes and calabrian chili bread crumbs for an added crunch.

As guests move into the third course, they’ll be delighted by the delectable Hudson Valley Foie Gras, a melt-in-your-mouth addition served with Rancho Patel mango, cardamom and sourdough.

To pair land with sea, the fourth course is the Red Snapper served with summer bean succotash and chorizo. Moving into the last course before dessert, guests will find the Middle Eastern Spiced Denver served with a smooth charred eggplant puree and saffron pickled cauliflower.

To finish off the meal, the desert course includes a Mille Feuille with pistachio and orange blossom.

Miami Spice diners looking to indulge in brunch and lunch at Orno will find a three course menu with a selection of Chilaquiles with salsa verde, queso fresco, avocado and a farm egg; Shakshuka served with a farm egg, castelvetrano olives, goat milk feta, sourdough; and Green Chickpea Hummus with pickled beets, za’atar pita for the first course.

The second course includes sweet and savory options like the French Omelette made with goat cheese, roasted garlic and fine herbs; Ricotta Pancakes served with fresh strawberries and Vermont syrup; and Bacon Potato Pave with gruyere and sourdough 

To finish off the meal, brunch lovers can indulge in a dessert course with options like the S’mores with dark chocolate, marshmallow and mezcal and Banana Bread with chocolate sunflower butter.

The dinner menu is equally as indulgent. The first course selection gives guests the choice of the Snapper Crudo, with cucumber aguachile, farm mango relish and cilantro; a Roasted Eggplant Crostini with harissa, basil and crème fraiche; or the Pork Confit with pickled peaches, Thai basil and cornbread. Guests also have an option to add on the Hudson Valley Foie Gras ($29+), a melt in your mouth addition served with Rancho Patel mango, cardamom and sourdough.

The second course lineup consists of a selection of Braised Short Rib, with peperonata served alongside a bed of cilantro rice and jus; the Grilled Skill Island Prawns, accompanied by a Thai mango salad, cilantro and chipotle glaze; or the Summer Corn Risotto, with charred corn from the wood-fired oven topped with black truffle and parsley gremolata.

Miami Spice diners with a sweet tooth can choose from Orno’s dessert options such as the Semifreddo with buttermilk, mango and tajin or the S’mores with dark chocolate, marshmallow and mezcal. 

An Island-Inspired Family-Style Meal at Mamey 

Located inside THesis Hotel, Mamey is inspired by Chef Niven Patel’s travels throughout Asia, French Polynesia and the Caribbean and features locally grown produce, most of which is sourced from his own farm, Rancho Patel in Homestead.

This Miami Spice, Chef Niven is presenting Lunch ($35) and Dinner ($60) menus to satisfy any guests’ craving that will showcase the exotic flavors and spices commonly found in the islands.

The first course boasts a variety of options including the seasonal Spring Farro Salad made with mangos from Rancho Patel, shaved asparagus, arugula, goat cheese feta, snow peas and pomegranate; the indulged White Truffle & Brie Grilled Cheese made with Florida Mango Jam and Sullivan Street Bread; and the Local Daily Catch Ceviche, presented with Coconut Leche de Tigre, red onion, avocado, Cachucha Peppers, and fresh cilantro.

The lineup for entrees feature the Glazed Lamb Ribs, with local honey, chives and pickled local fruit; Lemongrass Glazed Grouper with bok choy, heirloom carrots, bamboo rice and Thai curry; and Farm Vegetable Pad Thai with Tamarind, peanuts and Thai basil sprouts. For the full Miami Spice experience, guests can indulge in the dessert menu that highlights the Jamaican Rum Cake, with a sweet toffee sauce and creamy vanilla bean ice cream.

Mamey’s Miami Spice Dinner menu features a few different appetizers and entrees including appetizers like the Conch Fritters, with fresh cilantro aioli and habanero for a slight kick; the entrees include the Mishima Ranch Currasco, accompanied by yucca, rainbow chard red pepper chimichurri; and the Ghee Roasted Plantains with Tamarind Chutney, Chatt Yogurt, Zima Tomato, Cilantro Chutney and Crispy Chickpeas.

Mehzcla at The Balfour Hotel

Located at The Balfour Hotel in Miami Beach’s SoFi neighborhood, Mehzcla serves daily brunch and dinner with a menu that combines Latin recipes and ingredients in tribute to the hotel’s heritage.

For Miami Spice, the restaurant will offer brunch ($35) daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring a choice of Baby Gem Caesar Salad or Yuquitas for the appetizer and  a choice of Miami Benedict or Chicken and Waffles for the main course.

Mehzcla’s dinner menu ($40), available daily from 5-10 p.m., includes a choice of Empanadas or Avocado and Charred Baby Heirloom Tomato for the appetizer and a choice of the Smash Frita Burger or Arroz Chaufa for the main course.

Both Miami Spice menus will offer a tangy Key Lime Pie for dessert.

Bill Hansen Catering

For the first time ever, Miami Spice will now offer catering services as part of the Miami Temptations program.

Bill Hansen Luxury Catering will be the first brand to participate, offering discounted pricing for group events at a private residence or venue of selection.

Dinner menus range from $45 – $60 per person.

As part of this program Bill Hansen Catering’s team of expert chefs will come to your home to prepare a local farm-to-fork type menu that will change as needed based on customers.

MaryGold’s Florida Brasserie

For Miami Spice, MaryGold’s Florida Brasserie, located on the ground floor of the stylish boutique hotel Arlo Wynwood, is offering a three-course dinner that perfectly encapsulates its brasserie concept while melding Miami’s diverse culture into each dish and drink. Guests can begin with Agnolotti, made with ricotta and brown butter; herby Squash Salad; or coconut-gouda mousse Oxtail Beignets. The main course includes a choice of Gnudi, gnocchi-like dumplings with preserved fire-roasted tomato jam; Mahi Mahi cooked with aji amarillo; or Short Rib Vaca Frita with roasted maduro purée. For dessert, diners can choose from Flan de Queso, Chocolate Turtle Fondant and Raspberry-Yuzu Sherbet.
