Metro Diner is gearing up for the six-year anniversary of National Fried Chicken & Waffle Day on Tuesday, August 8 and to celebrate, the diners are showing appreciation for fans by offering $5 off this dish all day long (in-diner only).

The famous plate from Metro Diner is served complete with a fluffy Belgian Waffle topped with sweet strawberry butter and half a fried chicken and served with the diner’s signature sweet and spicy sauce.
For ultimate flavor, the diner starts preparing their chicken for 48 hours prior to serving, first brining it for 24 hours and then marinating for an additional 24 hours for maximum flavor and juiciness.

Guests are provided a SoW Passport that can be stamped each visit when they order the featured waffle.
Those who earn three stamps throughout the five weeks will get $5 Diner Dollars and a chance to win Fried Chicken & Waffles for a year.
