McDonald’s Canada Frequent Fryer Program is back! Guests who find Frycons will have the chance to win prizes and exclusive offers through the McDonald’s app such as free McShaker Fries and more.
The limited time available McShaker fries come with a seasoning packet (Churros or Masala), medium fries and you get a bag to “shake” and mix the seasoning packet and fries together.

The Frequent Fryer Frycon Scavenger Hunt begins May 28, 2024 at 12:00:00 AM ET and ends on June 28, 2024 at 11:59:59 ET.
How to Participate
How to Participate
There is no purchase or visit to a McDonald’s restaurant necessary to participate or win a Prize.
McShaker Frycons will be hidden all across Canada – in digital and in real life placements. McShaker Frycon Codes will be available weekly throughout the Contest Period (approx. 200) and Codes can be found via communications in McDonald’s channels such as email, social media, digital advertising, in the McDonald’s app and in physical locations throughout Canada.
Each McShaker Frycon Code can be shared, but it is only valid for one-time use by each eligible Participant.
When you find an eligible McShaker Frycon Code, tap on the Frequent Fryer tile in the McDonald’s app and enter the Code in the McDonald’s app.
If the Code is valid, you will receive a message either that you are eligible to win a prize or that you should try again using a different McShaker Frycon Code.
If you win a Prize, the Prize will automatically deposit in the Rewards & Offers section of your McDonald’s app account and will include the expiration date by which that Prize must be redeemed at a participating McDonald’s restaurant in Canada.
There is a limit of one play per McShaker Frycon Code and one Prize per Code per Participant. There is also a limit of one non-points Prize per Participant during the Contest. There is no limit to the number of eligible McShaker Frycon Codes you can enter on a given day.
Prizes
There are a total of 150,000 available to be won in the Contest. ARV = Approximate Retail Value.
- 1,500 McShaker Fries Prizes, ARV: $4.56.
- 15,000 x 4,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prizes, ARV $3.20.
- 15,000 x 2,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prizes, ARV $1.60.
- 36,000 x 1,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prizes, ARV $0.80.
- 52,500 x 500 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points Prizes, ARV $0.40.
- 7,500 x Offer #1 Prizes: Make any single purchase of items totaling $5 or more (excluding taxes) at a participating McDonald’s restaurant in Canada and receive one regular order of McShaker Fries at no additional cost, ARV: $4.56.
- 7,500 x Offer #2 Prizes: Purchase a Big Mac, McChicken or Filet-O-Fish sandwich at a participating McDonald’s restaurant in Canada and receive one regular order of McShaker Fries at no additional cost, ARV: $4.56.
- 7,500 x Offer #3 Prizes: Purchase one order of McShaker Fries at regular price at a participating McDonald’s restaurant in Canada and receive one regular order of McShaker Fries at 50% off, ARV: $2.28.
- 7,500 x Offer #4 Prizes: Purchase one regular sized order of McShaker Fries for $2, ARV: $2.56.
Four Fryer Status levels
There are four Fryer status levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. You will earn:
- Bronze Fryer status when you enter your 10th McShaker Frycon Code
- Silver Fryer status and a hint about where to find a Code when you enter you 50th McShaker Frycon Code
- Golden Fryer status and a new Code that can be entered in the McDonald’s app when you enter your 125th McShaker Frycon Code
- Platinum Fryer Status and 2,000 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points, ARV $1.60, deposited into your McDonald’s app account within approximately twenty-four hours after you enter your 200th McShaker Frycon Code
Points will expire 6 months after deposit, if not redeemed.
