McDonald’s Canada has brought back the World Menu Heist with a new group of international menu items now available at participating restaurants across Canada for a limited time.
The 2026 menu pulls from McDonald’s restaurants in Australia, Spain, France, Japan, the Netherlands and Sweden. There are seven items in total, including two burgers, loaded fries, seasoned McNuggets, two sauces and a McFlurry.
The Chicken Parmi Burger comes from Australia and features crispy seasoned chicken with marinara sauce, creamy parmesan sauce, shredded lettuce and white processed cheese on a potato bun.
From Spain, the McExtreme Pulled Pork combines pulled pork in barbecue sauce with a beef patty, hickory-smoked bacon, white processed cheese, crispy onions and creamy chipotle sauce. It is one of the heavier options on the menu, with both beef and pulled pork in the same sandwich.
The Cheesy Bacon McFlavour Fries are inspired by France. McDonald’s fries are topped with creamy double cheddar cheese sauce and hickory-smoked bacon.
Japan has two items on the menu. The Garlic & Black Pepper Chicken McNuggets have a garlic and black pepper seasoned breading, giving the familiar nuggets a more savoury flavour. They can be ordered with the Black Garlic Sauce, which has a deeper garlic and umami taste.
Sweden is behind the Truffle Flavoured Mayo-Style Sauce, a creamy dipping sauce with truffle flavouring that can be used with fries or McNuggets.
The dessert option is the Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands. It combines vanilla soft serve with caramel-flavoured cinnamon waffle cone pieces and caramel sauce.
The World Menu Heist gives Canadians a look at menu ideas offered by McDonald’s in other countries, though the versions sold in Canada may differ from the originals.
