McDonald’s Canada is introducing a limited-time menu experience ahead of the April 4 theatrical release of A Minecraft Movie. Available starting April 1, the new Minecraft Movie Meal and Happy Meal collection bring characters and themes from the film and game into restaurants across the country.
Fans can choose from a Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or McSpicy chicken sandwich, all served with medium fries, a medium fountain drink, and a side of Nether Flame sauce—a spicy blend of cayenne, chili pepper, garlic, and sweetness. Meals include one of six collectibles tied to in-game content, presented in themed pixel-style packaging.
Each collectible—such as the Big Mac Crystal, Birdie Wings, or Grimace Egg—comes with a card and code that unlocks an exclusive Minecraft skin in the Minecraft Marketplace. Canadian customers can also order the Apple Shake, made with apple syrup and vanilla soft serve.
Younger guests can join the promotion with a Minecraft Movie Happy Meal, which includes one of twelve toy sets or an activity book, and a scannable code that leads to a digital game hosted at www.happymeal.com. Toys range from familiar characters like Pink Sheep and Creeper to themed block sets paired with Minecraft figures.
Orders are available at participating McDonald’s locations across Canada, through the McDonald’s app, or via McDelivery.
