M pour Montréal Announces 2024 Lineup

M pour Montréal is set to celebrate its 19th edition from November 20 to 23, showcasing a rich lineup of over 100 performances and diverse industry programming. This four-day event will highlight Canadian and Québécois talent across multiple genres, including indie-pop, alternative rock, rap, and folk.

The Official Selection Showcase features 28 standout artists from across Canada. Among them are Astral Swans and Wyatt C. Louis from Calgary, Begonia and Living Hour from Winnipeg, and Grimelda and Katie Tupper from Saskatoon. Toronto-based acts include Charlie Houston, Housewife, and myst milano.; while Vancouver is represented by Vox Rea. Montréal’s vibrant music scene will be well-represented with performances from ALIAS, Claudia Bouvette, DVTR, Fleece, Jane Penny, KROY, Lubalin, Naomi, Population II, Shania Hayes, and many more.

M for Montréal provides a platform for artists to connect with over 500 industry professionals and engage an audience of more than 9,000 music enthusiasts. It serves as a critical launchpad for emerging artists, enabling them to build connections and showcase their work to a global audience.

The event will also feature the MARATHON Festival, presented by SiriusXM, where fans can experience a wide range of performances across Montréal’s iconic venues. Attendees can catch live shows from Official Selection artists and other local and international acts.

This year’s industry programming, in partnership with Billboard Canada, will offer networking opportunities through panels, workshops, and artist showcases. The M for Mixer will facilitate over 1,000 speed meetings, connecting artists with industry leaders. Panel topics will include the role of data in music discovery, accessibility at live events, and strategies for building global industry partnerships.

The EDU Pass provides students with discounted access to all M for Montréal programming, supporting the next generation of music professionals.
