Oceans 999 at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver is known for their spectacular buffets and their Live Jazz & Dinner Buffet is no exception.
This special buffet takes place on Saturday nights from 6 pm – 9 pm and features a variety of stations prepared by the talented culinary team at Oceans 999. There is also a live jazz band playing for guests at the buffet.
The Chef-led build your own pasta station is popular with guests as you can choose from a variety of pastas, housemade sauces, and garnishes including shrimps, scallops, chorizo, sweet peppers and more. They even have a gluten-free pasta option.
The Salads and Cold Dishes section featured items like Beef Carpaccio; Cocktail Shrimp; as well as a variety of salads like Caesar Salad.
There was also a selection of local and imported cheese and charcuterie along with breads, olives and preserves.
Some favourites from the hot entrees were the Butternut Squash Ravioli; Local Salmon with Citrus Mayo; and Lamb Sirloin with Red Wine Jus.
Last but not least, the Dessert Buffet featuring decadent creations from award-winning Pastry Chef Hans. There were so many goodies from Black Forest Bites, Raspberry Lime Coconut Mousse Cake; Nanaimo Bar Jars; Exotic Mango Wild Berry Mousse Cake and so much more.
Throughout the evening, we enjoyed live music from a jazz band lead by Nikita Afonso.
Overall, we had such a fun and delicious experience in the beautiful setting and would recommend it.
