On our day trip to Long Beach, we enjoyed an afternoon at Mother’s Beach and then ventured to Little Coyote Pizza – a popular joint for New York style pizza.
Little Coyote has a small and focused menu of New York style pizza available in whole pies or slices as well as subs and salads.
Pizza options include Cheese; Pepperoni; The White Pie (with spinach, ricotta and garlic); Queen Margherita; Papa Joe (with Italian sausage); Veggie Supremo (with roasted peppers, red onion and olive); and Vegan (with mushroom, spinach and artichoke).
We visited the location at 2118 E 4th St, Long Beach and ordered Cheese and Pepperoni whole pies.
The tomato sauce was well-balanced and the pizzas had the right amount of cheese on top. The pizza crust was thin, foldable and the bottoms were crispy. The pepperoni had nice crisp edges.
Overall, delicious pizza and I would recommend giving them a try.

You didn’t try their signature white pizza. By far their best pie. Good place. Friendly service.
