Dive into Canada’s ultimate comfort food celebration as La Poutine Week presented by People Mover Technologies Inc. and exclusive delivery partner DoorDash, returns for its highly anticipated twelfth edition with more flavour and fun than ever.
From February 1st to 7th, participating restaurants nationwide will have the opportunity to showcase their unique twists on the classic Canadian dish for festival-goers to enjoy.
Whether you’re a traditionalist who loves the comforting embrace of a classic poutine or an adventurous eater seeking bold and unconventional creations, La Poutine Week has something for everyone.
So, buckle up for a week-long culinary adventure and welcome to Poutineland: Canada’s new name for the week.

During La Poutine Week, restaurants across the nation will put forth a limited-edition poutine designed especially for the festival.
Customers can participate by trying these new and exciting poutine creations, sharing their experiences on social media, and voting for their favourites on www.lapoutineweek.com.
To add an extra dash of excitement to the festival, festival-goers will also be able to rack up YUM points and redeem them for poutines throughout the week-long event.
Different ways to earn YUMS include: signing up for La Poutine Week, voting for poutines, tagging @LaPoutineWeek on Instagram and making a transaction on the festival’s website.
Those with the most “YUMS” will then qualify to win DoorDash gift cards ranging from $100-$500. In addition, restaurants will be able to win points, called RESTOYUMS, by interacting with clients, using the La Poutine Week hashtag on social media, and getting votes for their poutines. The restaurant with the most RESTOYUMS wins.
Over the years, La Poutine Week has evolved into more than just a local foodie event; it’s become a cultural tradition that unites Canadians nationwide as they celebrate their love for this iconic Canadian gastronomic treasure.
Beyond its cultural significance, La Poutine Week also plays a crucial role in supporting local restaurants across the country.
In fact, this year the festival expects to see about 800 restaurants participating. In past years, La Poutine Week has seen upwards of 500,000 visits to their website and incremental sales for participating restaurants, making it one of the busiest weeks for those restaurants all year.
For the 3rd year in a row, La Poutine Week is proud to be teaming up with DoorDash, their exclusive delivery partner for the festival. For those looking to feast from the comfort of their homes, the convenience of savouring these poutines can be delivered right to your doorstep with DoorDash. What’s more, restaurants on DoorDash are invited to participate in the festival for free ($300 value), making it easier than ever for restaurants to participate in the cheesy festivities.
