A legendary New York restaurant officially opens in West Palm Beach Florida. In New York City, Harry’s on Wall Street is situated in a building that has stood since 1854.
In fact, Harry Johnson pioneered the great American bar in the same location where Harry’s stands.
Since it was established in 1972 Harry’s has been the go-to location for its carefully crafted beef wellington or collectors-worthy wine list, buzzing with clientele like heads of financial institutions from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management to Goldman Sachs.
Harry’s is so well known that it has been penned into novels such as Bonfire of the Vanities and American Psycho.
What’s next for Harry’s legacy?
On June 6, Harry’s West Palm Beach will open as its first and only expansion.
Led by Harry’s son, Peter, the restaurant will debut as a nod to the original in the heart of Wall Street South at Related Companies’ 360 Rosemary in The Square neighborhood.

Under the stewardship of Executive Chef Joseph Mallol, who led Harry’s New York for over 15 years, the menu will feature staple dishes like its famous beef wellington, 28 day in-house dry-aged steaks, house-made smoked Canadian bacon and performative tableside Cesar salad and steak tartare.
The longstanding manager from New York, Ivan Mitankin, will continue Harry’s hospitality legacy and oversee the extensive and unmatched wine list.
The cocktail program is set to continue paying homage to historic bartender Harry Johnson and includes Harry’s famous martini.
Its dining room will be an opulent interior filled with warm golds, deep reds and distinguished gold lighting fixtures adorning an uplit bar, cozy dining booths and freestanding tables.
The piece de resistance of Harry’s will be a grand mural vibrantly honoring and resembling the restaurant’s Wall Street location.
In true South Florida fashion, a lush tropical patio is enveloped in a canopy of trees and native flora.
Harry’s will feature bright lit liquor lockers as well as a wine collection rack that will house hundreds of labels.
