The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular

For the first time, The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular is coming to Sesame Place San Diego this year on select dates until Oct. 30.

The park will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween lair where guests can enjoy trick-or-treating around the park, Halloween-themed shows, an interactive Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt and unique photo opportunities with everyone’s favorite Sesame Place friends dressed up in costume on their Halloween-themed floats.

Howl-O-Scream

Next on this list of Halloween San Diego Events 2022 is SeaWorld San Diego’s Howl-O-Scream which eawakens now through Oct. 31.

This separately ticketed event offers all the scares and screams of a typical Halloween event, along with the thrilling rides and high-quality entertainment of a theme park.

Howl-O-Scream is not recommended for younger guests, but families can still enjoy fun, kid-friendly Halloween festivities during SeaWorld’s annual daytime Spooktacular, which features trick-or-treating, costumes and the return of the Spooktacular Pumpkin Hunt.

Brick-or-Treat

Every Saturday night from Sept. 17 – Oct. 29, Monsters are taking over LEGOLAND® California Resort as Brick-or-Treat presents the all-new Monster Party, a bewitching children’s Halloween celebration. Guests can dress up and celebrate Halloween with new LEGO® Monster characters, treat stations, not-so-spooky décor, an all-new show lineup, and the release of the exclusive new 4D movie: “The Great Monster Chase!”

The Haunted Trail

The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park is on from September 23 – October 31, with two haunts in one; the 3,500 square foot eXperiment Maze and a mile long terrifying outdoor Trail through twisted pines and gnarled oaks.

Feel your way through the fog of the upside down world with Vecna breathing down your neck. Climb aboard the Ghoul Bus where a cloister of Nuns share the horrifying ride with you, Chainsaw-Wielding zombie rodeo clowns will corner you in their corral preparing you for the slaughter house.

CNN named The Haunted Trail on the Top 5 BEST HAUNTED ATTRACTIONS in America! True to its reputation, these haunts are not for children under 10 or the faint of heart. Parking is FREE at the Haunted Trail of Balboa Park.
