Opened in 2021, the Golden Skybridge quickly became one of the region’s must-visit destinations, attracting families, outdoor enthusiasts, and adventure seekers alike. We went with the Adventure Passes and here’s a look at the fun we had at Golden Skybridge.

Our Experience at Golden Skybridge
The Bridges
The centerpieces of the Golden Skybridge experience are the two suspension bridges, which are the highest in Canada. The bridges span a 130-meter (426-foot) deep canyon, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, the rushing river below, and the distant peaks.

The upper bridge is 130 meters (426 feet) above the canyon floor, while the lower bridge sits slightly lower, providing different perspectives of the landscape.

The experience of walking across these swaying bridges was both thrilling and peaceful, as we marveled at the sheer beauty of nature all around us.

The bridges are sturdy and well-maintained, and the entire family felt safe while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

If you are afraid of heights or need assistance crossing the bridge, the staff are able to help! The bridge is also accessible and those who use wheelchairs can make it across too.
Zipline Across the Canyon
The 1,000 feet zipline across the canyon was unforgettable as we soared 500 feet above the canyon at thrilling speeds while taking in the breathtaking views.

The rush of wind and the expansive vista below made for an exhilarating experience.
The staff were friendly and professional, ensuring we were well-prepared and safe throughout the experience. It’s a must-try, particularly for those seeking a bit of adrenaline.
Ropes Course Adventure
The ropes course at Golden Skybridge was a fun test of agility, balance and coordination. The course was well-designed, offering just the right amount of challenge to keep things exciting while still being accessible to participants of different ages and skill levels.

Railrider Mountain Coaster
The Railrider Mountain Coaster was a thrilling ride which began with a peaceful ascent up the mountainside, allowing you to take in the stunning alpine scenery. But once we reached the top, the real excitement begins. The coaster picks up speed as it winds through the forest and hugs the canyon edge, offering an exhilarating rush as it curves and turns down the hill. With a total vertical descent of 73 meters (240 feet), the ride was packed with thrills from start to finish.
Cliffside Playpark
The Cliffside Playpark is a nice area for the younger ones to enjoy. The play structures and activities were well-thought-out, providing plenty of opportunities for climbing, sliding, and exploring. It was a nice change of pace from the more intense activities and allowed my younger son to expend some energy in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Climbing Wall
My two sons also took to the 28-foot rock climbing wall which accommodated different skill level. The design mimicked natural rock features, which made the climb feel authentic and added to the fun.

Ax-Throwing
We also tried our hand at axe-throwing at Golden Skybridge and it was definitely worth a go! The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us a quick lesson on technique and safety before we started. There’s something incredibly satisfying about the thud of an axe hitting the target!
Food Options
The on-site eateries offered a good variety of meals and snacks from hearty burgers to lighter salads. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor covered seating areas, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our meals.

Overall, the Golden Skybridge offers us a fantastic mix of thrilling activities, stunning natural beauty, and satisfying food options, making it a perfect destination for a memorable family outing. Each activity provided a unique experience, and the entire day was filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. I highly recommend visiting the Golden Skybridge.
