Frankie’s Street Food is a unique food truck offering Mumbai-inspired street food. You can find them at Brave Brewing Co. in Port Moody. Their style of cuisine definitely goes well with beer! Here is what I tried:

Grilled Chicken Tikka Frankie $16
Comes wrapped in a tortilla, griddled and loaded with: shredded cabbage, pickled turnips and onions, crispy piri piri french fries, mint chutney, and garlic sauce.

In Mumbai, a Frankie is also known as a roti wrap. Traditionally, they are wrapped in freshly made roti with a thin layer of egg. This food truck has created their own interpretation of the frankie.
Lamb Smash Burger $16
Smashed lamb patty, cabbage slaw, mint chutney, Kraft single, lemon vinaigrette, chat masala, pickled onions, Martin’s potato roll.

Indo-Schezwan Chicken Sando $16
Twice fried chicken tossed in sweet and spicy Schezwan sauce, cabbage slaw, pickled onions, Martin’s potato roll.

Butter Chicken Poutine $9
Golden Ears Cheese Crafter’s cheese curds, Urban Tadka butter sauce, mint

Sauces
House-Fermented Jalapeno Hot Sauce; Garlic Sauce; Mint Chutney; and Schezwan Mayo.

The Grilled Chicken Tikka Frankie was my favourite. I loved the texture of the crunchy vegetables with the tender chicken and the flavours of the mint chuney and garlic sauce. Butter Chicken Poutine is great for sharing.
Frankie’s Street Food truck is located at 2617 Murray St, Port Moody, BC.
