Abe & Louie’s
Venerable Back Bay steakhouse Abe & Louie’s will feature their signature menu in addition to a collection of specials. For starters, there are clams casino with Duxbury clams and bacon topped with brown butter herb breadcrumbs ($25) as well as Maine lobster croquettes with smoked tomato vinaigrette ($26). Entrees include the 20oz angus T-bone steak served with a twice-baked loaded potato and Dijon cognac sauce ($89) and ahi tuna steak with eggplant caponata and lemon-basil crème fraîche ($55). For something sweet, there is a key lime tart with key lime curd and toasted meringue ($12) and for a refreshing sip, try the It’s a Guys Trip with Basil Hayden bourbon, lime juice, passionfruit and five-spice ($18) or Fore! with Maker’s Mark bourbon, Hornitos tequila, Captain Morgan spiced rum, lemon, ginger and passionfruit ($18). Reservations from June 16-18.
XOXO Sushi Bar
This Father’s Day, XOXO Sushi Bar in Chestnut Hill is inviting patriarchs to keep it neat with an exclusive whisky flight. The special, offered at $55, feature pairs four (4) one-ounce pours of some of XOXO’s most celebrated whiskys from their collection: Mars Shinshu Iwai; Kaiyō ‘The Kuri’ No. 1, Ariake Wood Collection Chestnut; Nikka Yoichi; and Yamakazi 12.
Atlantic Fish Co.
Serving Boston the freshest catch since 1978, Atlantic Fish Co. will be dishing out a pair of specials in addition to a cocktail feature. To start, there is crispy soft crab with avocado, cherry tomato and citrus soy ($26) while the entrée is roasted halibut with lobster-studded potatoes and corn succotash ($55). To tie one on, there is El Jefe with Patron, strawberry habanero and lime ($18). Reservations from June 16-18.
Coach Grill
Wayland’s crown jewel Coach Grill will dish an array of food and cocktail specials this Father’s Day weekend. The starter features are garlic and chili-rubbed prawns ($28) as well as beef carpaccio with a sunny side-up egg, arugula, parmesan and capers with crostini ($22). Bring your appetite for the main courses, an 18oz T-bone steak with a twice-baked potato and crispy bacon with a bourbon-peppercorn sauce ($85) or the pan-seared Chilean sea bass with sauteed spinach, fingerling potatoes and orange beurre blanc ($55). Leave room for dessert, a key lime tart with key lime curd and toasted meringue ($12). For cocktails, there is Sweet Tea Smash with Basil Hayden bourbon, Twisted Tea and club soda ($17) in addition to Dad’s Porch Hooch with Dewar’s Japanese Smooth scotch, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, agave and lemon ($17). Reservations from June 16-18.
Joe’s on Newbury & Joe’s Waterfront
Located in the Back Bay’s most desired quarters and along Boston Harbor, Joe’s on Newbury and Joe’s Waterfront will showcase à la carte specials. To start, there are pork dumplings with ponzu sauce ($15) or Maine lobster bisque with crème fraiche ($15). For entrees, there is beef wellington, a filet mignon with mushroom duxelles and madeira wine sauce ($58) as well as lobster and scallop ravioli with lobster ragu, roasted tomato and Calabrian chiles ($42). The dessert special is a key lime tart with key lime curd and toasted meringue ($12). There also are exclusive cocktail specials at the sister locations like It’s My Day Off – Sipsmith gin, ginger beer, Peachtree liqueur and strawberry ($14) – at Joe’s on Newbury while Joe’s Waterfront will serve the Boss Man with Basil Hayden bourbon, St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, lemon and cucumber ($15).

Eddie Merlot’s Prime Aged Beef & Seafood – Boston
Leave the grilling to Eddie Merlot’s this Father’s Day Weekend and make his day memorable with one of their select prime-aged cuts, fresh seafood, and menu full of craft cocktails. They’ll be serving their full menu, so treat Dad to a meal he deserves.
