Inspired by the Chef Alvin Cailan’s genuine love for eggs, Egg Slut is gourmet concept founded in 2011 in Los Angeles but has since expanded internationally with outposts in South Korea, Singapore, Japan and the UK. They have one other US location in Las Vegas.
Choose from breakfast sandwiches, a cheeseburger topped with an egg, egg salad and several other specialties.
Egg Slut’s bread is sourced locally and delivered fresh every day, which really puts their egg sandwiches over the top.
One popular menu favorite, the Fairfax, includes cage-free soft scrambled eggs, chives, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo on a brioche bun.
Order some freshly squeezed orange juice, and you’ll have the breakfast of champions.
Even if you visit Egg Slut for breakfast, you’ll still want to save room for dessert. This joint bakes their salted chocolate chip cookies fresh every morning, and they are so delicious that they often run out.

At Egg Slut Glendale, we tried the following:
Fairfax egg sandwich: cage-free soft scrambled eggs and chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo in a warm brioche bun.
Egg Salad sandwich: cage-free hard cooked eggs and thinly sliced chives mixed in honey mustard aioli with dressed arugula in a warm brioche bun.
Cheeseburger: ground angus beef, cage-free over medium egg, caramelized onions, bread and butter pickles, cheddar cheese, and dijonnaise in a warm brioche bun.
Freshly squeeze orange juice
The eggs were light and fluffy and the brioche bun was nicely soft and buttery. Everything was very comforting and delicious. The patty in the cheeseburger was very juicy and flavorful.
