Check out this menu brought to you by Chef Resa of Baccanalle – listed among one of Canada’s best Woman-owned food businesses by Food Network Canada.   Baccanalle is offering  a preorder (heat & serve and DIY) menu for pickup & delivery April 6-8.  Single/Double Entrées and Family Style options, starting at $20pp. Key features – Geera Lamb, Pan-seared Salmon, Vegan Curry Feast, their classic Ocho Jerk Chicken.  Yummy house desserts like their Coconut Cream Pie Tarts and Jamocha Me Crazy Brownie Mousse! Cocotte Bistro

Cocotte Bistro is offering an Easter brunch menu from April 7 – 10. Priced at $45 per person. Indulge with Executive Chef Stephen La Salle’s table d’hote brunch menu. From mini-egg pancakes to lamb navarin printanier there is something enticing for every palate. Easter Brunch Menu includes pastries, juice, brewed Café Union coffee and hand-blended Pluck Tea.

Zoe’s at Fairmont Chateau Laurier

Zoe’s at Fairmont Chateau Laurier is offering an Easter-themed afternoon tea experience on April 9. Priced at $79 per adult and $40 per child. The menu offers traditional house made scones, served with cream and strawberry jam, delicate tea sandwiches, and delectable desserts, all complimented by Fairmont’s own curated specialty teas.

Wilfrid’s Restaurant – Fairmont Chateau Laurier

Wilfrid’s Restaurant – Fairmont Chateau Laurier is offering an Easter brunch on April 9. Priced at $105 per adult and $53 per child. Brunch experience starts with seafood, assorted salads and yogurt bar. Mains call for a choice of a lemon roasted chicken or braised pork belly, as well as options for a glazed pinto beans and roasted fingerling potatoes. End on a sweet note with crème brûlée or mango and apple chia pudding with toasted coconut.

NeXT

NeXT is offering an Easter brunch on April 9 from 9:45 am to 1:30 pm. Priced at $70 per adult, $45 per child ages 5-10 and $30 per kid ages 5 and under. There will be a 12 course sharing menu presented and over 4 waves with 3 dishes per wave, including coffee & juice.

Things to Do

The Log Farm

The Log Farm is offering an Easter Egg hunt from April 7 – 10. Bring your own basket to collect colourful plastic eggs scattered along the forest walking trail, then exchange the eggs for an Easter treat. There will be wagon rides and kid’s play areas. Admission to the Farm is the same price for all ages ($10 + taxes & fees) Everyone requires a ticket.

Metcalfe Easter Farmers Market

Come and shop on Easter weekend at Metcalfe Easter Farmer’s Market on April 8. 50+ local producers welcome you to the first market of the year—Easter-style—with produce, baking, crafts, hot food, soaps, coffee, clothing, tea, artwork, honey, maple syrup, wine, beer, spirits and more. The farmers’ market turns 30 this year.

Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario

Enjoy a ride in a vintage caboose, a petting zoo, pony rides and children’s activities including scavenger hunt, face painting and Easter crafts. Find out more here.

Ottawa Hopping Down the Bunny Trail Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny is here and he is hopping down the Bunny Trail with all of his friends and family. Kids 12 years and younger are welcome to join the fastest holiday celebration of the season! To celebrate the reopening we are hiding over 25,000 eggs, candy, toys and treats throughout the day, making sure everyone gets their basket full of goodies from the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny and his family will be here, admission includes a free selfie photo with one of his family members, so bring your camera’s. Professional family photos will also be available for purchase. April 8 from 12 – 4 pm. Tickets here.

Valleyview Little Animal Farm

Partake in this annual Easter Egg Hunt while enjoy the company of a wide variety of animals and birds up close, such as alpacas to zebus, goats to geese. Find out more here.

Diefenbunker Museum

Hop on over to the Diefenbunker for an annual spring event. Families are invited to explore the bunker as you search for signs of spring that the Easter Bunny has left behind and pick up some treats along the way! Decorate a butterfly or an egg at the craft station, plant some seeds to take home with you, and participate in a scavenger hunt for camouflaged eggs and flowers. It is recommended to purchase tickets in advance as spots are limited. April 7, 2023, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. $12 per person; Infants 2 and under are free.

Billings Estate National Historic Site

Explore Ottawa’s agricultural heritage with fun, hands-on family activities: decorate eggs with a variety of dyes, plant your own veggies for the growing season, try your hand at using decorative butter presses and more.
