Daigyo Vancouver is a new Japanese dessert cafe which has opened up in the West End neighbourhood. They have another location in North York in Ontario.

Daigyo sources their ceremonial-grade, premium organic matcha from Shizuoka.

On the menu are lattes (like Organic O-Matcha; Organic Houjicha; and Coffee); iced drinks (like Organic Matcha Milk Shake); traditional teas (like Oolong and Jasmine); parfaits; affogatos; matcha soft serves; Japanese press sandos (like Tartare Chicken and Spicy Octopus); and more.

I got the Daigyo Parfait, Red Bean Shiratama Japanese Pressed Sando; O-Matcha Latte with Oat Milk; and White Peach Jasmine Float.
The drinks and soft serve had a nice matcha taste but not overly bitter. You can ask them to customize the drinks for sweetness and ice level. It was nice that they do not charge extra for alternative milk.

The interior is minimalist with some counter seating. There are no dining tables so it is mostly grab-and-go.
Check out Daigyo Vancouver at 1725 Robson St #2, Vancouver, BC.
