COBS Bread is rolling out a back-to-school promotion that rewards carpooling families with free Fun Buns from September 4 to 6. The bakery chain is introducing Carbpool, a three-day event where every passenger in a carpool can enjoy a freshly baked treat.
The Fun Bun is a small sweet bun topped with cream cheese icing and colourful sprinkles, baked from scratch that morning. Families participating in carpools can stop by a participating COBS Bread bakery during the event and receive a complimentary bun for each passenger. Some locations will also feature dedicated Carbpool parking, making it easier for drivers to quickly pick up their treats or grab other baked goods for school lunches.
After the promotion ends, members of the COBS Club loyalty program can continue to benefit. From September 7 to 24, COBS Club members will earn three times the usual Breadcrumbs points on purchases of eligible loaves. This gives customers extra incentive to stock up on their everyday bread while maximizing rewards.
