Cinnabar will celebrate its grand opening with the Long Island neighborhood of Massapequa on Friday, October, 20th, 2023.

The opulent venue is crowned by a ceiling height of over 22 feet, with a 5500 sq foot interior aimed at immersing all 165 seated guests in an ambiance reminiscent of an ancient Chinese dynasty’s Forbidden City, as they dine on elevated Chinese & Japanese cuisine.
The menu will feature their Lychee Shrimp Lollipop, which offers a distinct texture, artful arrangement, and towering presentation.
Chef Ken, formerly of Himitsu, a private omakase space in Queens, showcases his culinary expertise with 8-piece Omakase-Style Sushi.
The sushi bar evokes an elemental take capturing the essence of Bagua with specialty sushi rolls named after the Five Elements.
Indulge in the fragrant flavor of lobster and sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves with their Steam Lobster & Sticky Rice Lotus Leaf Wrap.
The Dim Sum Box Sampler offers an artistic arrangement of a Chinese classic. On the libation front, mixology meets innovation as Cinnabar introduces classic cocktails with a twist such as the “Open Sesame,” a fresh take on a Disaronno Sour made with Sesame Oil & Anise, and the explosive flavors of “Crazy Rich Asians,” made with Mezcal, Passionfruit, and Jalapeno Infused tequila.
The team behind Cinnabar is part of a culinary collective that includes The Attic, Himitsu, Tavern 157, Siam Thai, Izakaya Nana, and Baohub.
Together they boast an impressive portfolio of dining establishments throughout the NYC area. Cathy Ren and her team are now excited to bring their hospitality excellence to Massapequa, Long Island.
