Here are some great summer happy hours in Chicago that you do not want to miss out on this patio season.
Adobo Grill
For those looking for some south of the border fun in Old Town, Adobo Grill features Happy Hour Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00pm – 6:00 pm. Select tacos are $4 and margaritas will be $8. Adobo has a tasty selection of tacos and one of our favorites is the Costilla Taco, made with barbacoa beef short rib, red onion, and cilantro. Another great option is the Pescado Taco with Negra Modelo beer-battered tilapia, creamy chipotle mayo, and cabbage. Here’s to hoping these tasty offerings are featured.
Vinci
If Italian is more your speed, Lincoln Park’s Vinci also offers Happy Hour Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 4:00pm – 6:00 pm, featuring $12 pizzas, $5 drafts and $8 on select wines. Some of their great pizzas include the Salsiccia which is crispy prosciutto, sausage, bacon, fontina, tomato, red onions and the Funghi with mushrooms, squash, caramelized onion, and parmigiano. Kick Happy Hour up a notch by enjoying on Vinci’s patio.
Amerikas
Enjoy the melting pot of flavors that is Amerikas, in Oak Park as the restaurant’s Happy Hour is available Tuesday through Sunday, from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Margaritas are half price, and Sangria pitchers are $30 during happy hour. Amerikas offers other great options for discounted drinks as well. Amerikas’ also has rotating week-day specials which include $10 Old Fashion Thursdays, and 20% off mezcal flights on Fridays.
