Here are a few hot spots in South Florida to celebrate Whiskey Sour Day on August 25.
Negroni Midtown
At Negroni Bistro & Sushi Bar in Midtown, it’s only right that rather than the typical whiskey sour, guests can imbibe in a negroni sour.

The global Latin-American hotspot serves up a twist on the classic cocktail with its Negroni Sour ($18), switching out bourbon for Campari, Bulldog gin, and Cinzano Rosso.
That famous sour taste shows itself in the inclusion of citrus juice, aquafaba, grapefruit cordial and Angostura bitter.
The cocktail is perfect to enjoy in the urban space during day or night, whether in the vibrant dining room or greenery-laden, dog-friendly patio.
Higher Ground
Higher Ground at Arlo Wynwood, the third-floor urban courtyard for friends and hangouts, may not offer a whiskey sour, but Higher Ground is famously known for its immensely creative cocktails that are unlike any typical drink from any typical bar.

Guests might not find the classic cocktail here, but they’ll sure find the food of the gods in the form of a clarified milk punch (that’s what the menu calls this whiskey drink, anyway).
The Theobroma Cacao ($16) trades sour for sweet by mixing Aberfeldy whiskey, Fino wine, lemon zest, strawberry, raspberry, rose tea and cacao.
The drink is served on the rocks with plated burnt sage to get the senses going, displaying a perfectly pink presentation akin to the classic look of a whiskey sour, except prettier.
Orno
Located inside THesis Hotel Miami in Coral Gables, Orno is a modern restaurant with an open-kitchen concept helmed by five-time James Beard Award nominee and Food & Wine’s “Best New Chef of 2020” Niven Patel.

This Whiskey Sour Day, try the Tokyo Sour ($20), a flavorful combination of Suntory Toki Whisky, Oka Kura Bermutto, Yuzu and Native Guy Honey.
The cocktail is the perfect start to a flavorful meal at Orno where the menu consists of new-American cuisine featuring the finest selection of meats and seafood.
G Bar at Gabriel Miami
Located on the first floor of The Gabriel Miami, G Bar is an expansive restaurant splashed with green and navy tones for an earthy ambiance.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by a vibrant column of green mosaic tiles, with the rectangular bar right behind it adorned with navy blue wood panels and plush leather stools.
Cheers to the boozy holiday with a classic Whiskey Sour ($18), an invigorating mix of Crown Royal Whiskey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup, egg whites and garnished with Angostura bitters.
Whiskey Neat
“Whiskey” is in the name at Whiskey Neat, Broward’s dedicated cocktail lounge with locations in Fort Lauderdale and Plantation.

This Whiskey Sour Day, both bars will be featuring a fan favorite house speciality Whiskey Sour, the Honey I’m Home ($12), made with Glenlivet Founders Reserve Scotch, honey, lemon, ginger liqueur and egg white.
Plus, half off their classic Whiskey Sour until 7 p.m. at both locations.
Negroni Bistro & Sushi Bar Weston
Like its Miami location, the recently opened Weston destination of Negroni Bistro & Sushi Bar trades the typical whiskey sour for a negroni sour.

The cocktail is perfect to enjoy in the urban space during day or night where guests can unwind in the dining room complete with a dedicated bar in each area, or on the friendly outdoor patio.
Quarterdeck Restaurants
Quarterdeck Restaurants’ five Broward locations offer the Channel Marker ($12), a tropical take on the whiskey sour by swapping out sugar or syrup for iced tea and peach pureé.

The unique drink features Bulleit Bourbon and fresh lemon juice in honor of the traditional ingredients, but the inclusion of fruit and tea brings a tropical South Florida flavor palette for those searching for something refreshing.
Pair it with the restaurant’s comfort food menu featuring specialty sushi, custom-blend burgers, build-your-own poke bowls, tacos and more, making it the ultimate neighborhood hangout.
