Bar La Rue, DineAmic Hospitality’s newest restaurant in Fulton Market, is now open. Located around the corner from the recently opened La Serre, Bar La Rue is a brand-new concept at 820 W. Fulton Market Street that celebrates French-American cuisine with an inventive cocktail program in the heart of the neighborhood. The stylish new location also boasts a beautiful all-season, streetside pergola bar and dining area which will stand out as a much-desired destination for al fresco dining.

Designed with a “grit meets glamor” aesthetic as inspiration, the DineAmic team curated the space to artfully juxtapose relaxed urban style with elegant and ornate accents. The 3,000-square-foot interior brings together elements like a patinaed zinc bar top with green crystal chandeliers hanging overhead. Black and white print wallpaper on one side of the room is set adjacent to glimmering metallic wallpaper on the other side. Installed above the main entryway is a myriad of colorful liquor bottles which will let sunlight in with a kaleidoscope effect reflecting into the space. A variety of bright bohemian florals adorn the restaurant and harmoniously blend with a custom modern wall of LED windows that backlight a banquette of tables. The focal point of design is Bar La Rue’s stunning all-season pergola that provides a streetside, 25-seat bar along with ample table seating. The pergola, adorned with lush greenery overtop, is equipped with infrared heating and cooling elements to allow for year-round use of the space that will quickly become one of the neighborhood’s most coveted spots to sip, dine, and people watch.

Bar La Rue’s menu incorporates French plays on approachable American comfort foods. The kitchen team is led by Chef Nikitas Pyrgis hailing from La Guérite in Cannes; plus Chef Partner Athinagoras Kostakos, formerly of Alain Ducasse in Monaco and Partner in both DineAmic’s La Serre, LÝRA and VIOLÍ concepts. Diners can expect delicious, French inspired dishes like the Royale with Cheese, a smash burger with melted sharp American cheese served with crispy frites and dijonaise, and a Lobster Roll on a brioche bun that can be served in the classic style or “opulent” style adorned with Osetra caviar and shaved truffles. Other unique preparations from the menu include:
- Traditional French Fondue Service – Served with a rotating menu of seasonal accompaniments such as crispy potatoes, raw vegetables, and charcuterie to dip
- Kale & Apple Salad – A delicious shaved vegetable salad with sherry vinaigrette, feta, and crispy shallots.
- Exceptional Raw Bar Selections – Options include items like shrimp cocktail or chilled oysters on the half shell

Inventive and playful riffs on classic French mixology are central to Bar La Rue’s cocktail program. Inventive selections include their take on a French Martini with fresh chamomile and blackberry, a spin on vibrant Rum Punch, and an herbaceous Rosemary Paloma.

Bar La Rue’s hours of operation will begin at 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. on Fridays.
