Bar Corso is a chef-owned and operated Italian tapas restaurant and bar on Commercial Drive in Vancouver (BC Canada). Executive Chef, Luke Boswell, designed an Italian tapas menu that highlights how wonderfully complex the simplest of Italian ingredients can be. The beverage program features wines, grappas, cocktails and more that complement the dishes.

Bar Corso with its sleek, inviting interior is a great place for a date night. You’ll find seating along the bar as well as some booths and an outdoor patio.
We were hosted at Bar Corso and tried the following:

Chickpea Crostino

Housemade focaccia
The BC Side Stripe Shrimp pasta was the feature pasta of the day and it was hands-down our favourite of the evening. It boasted West Coast flavours in a luscious, savoury sauce. If you’re going for just some light snacks, I would highly recommend the crostinis which were loaded with delicious, elevated spreads. The bison striploin was a more substantial, tapas for hungrier appetites and it was very flavourful, tender and perfectly executed.
Reservations are recommended at Bar Corso but walk-ins are welcome too.
Bar Corso is located at 1566 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC.
