Carneros Resort and Spa, the 28-acre luxury resort nestled in the picturesque wine region of Carneros, announced award-winning chef Chris Bianco will reimagine FARM, the property’s seasonally driven signature restaurant.
Currently closed and undergoing an extensive renovation, FARM will maintain its name but debut in fall 2023 as an entirely different concept.
The interiors will showcase an all-new design with an expanded outdoor dining space and upgraded pavilion, while the menu will pull inspiration from the Napa region as well as Bianco’s Italian influences.

After starting Pizzeria Bianco in the back of a Phoenix grocery store in 1988, Bianco has been featured on Netflix’s “Chef’s Table,” named the James Beard Foundation 2022 Outstanding Restaurateur and the James Beard Foundation 2003 Best Chef in the Southwest.
This new venture will mark Bianco’s first resort partnership and outpost in Napa Valley.

With Bianco at the helm, in collaboration with FARM’s chef de cuisine and culinary team, the restaurant’s cuisine will pay homage to Napa Valley’s agricultural roots with the freshest ingredients sourced from local purveyors in the community, as well as the resort’s onsite culinary gardens that provide more than 50 varieties of organic herbs and vegetables.
In addition to reimagining FARM’s dining experience, Bianco will oversee MARKET, the resort’s upscale general store, and introduce his sandwiches and branded goods as phase two of the partnership.

FARM at Carneros, in partnership with Chris Bianco, will debut following the restaurant’s renovation.
Designed by Nina Chiappa Interiors – who also designed the property’s guest cottages, spa and lobby – FARM will receive substantial changes that further showcase its modern take on the Napa farmhouse.
Locals and visitors can look forward to the restaurant’s redesigned dining room layout to maximize chef-guest interaction, an upgraded outdoor space, refreshed bar, brand-new furnishings and accessories, and more.

Bianco has established himself as a renowned chef and business owner with a portfolio of distinctive dining concepts.
His acclaimed restaurants include multiple Pizzeria Bianco locations in Phoenix and Los Angeles, two Pane Bianco venues and a white-tablecloth restaurant in Phoenix called Tratto, where classic Italian fare meets the Southwest’s home-grown ingredients in a refined setting.
Originally from the Bronx, Bianco worked at a pizzeria from a young age, but his passion for pies and other Italian dishes was amplified after a family trip to Naples, Italy at 13.
He then channeled his newfound curiosity and dedicated his time to developing his brand of culinary expertise, rising the ranks of the restaurant industry before opening Pizzeria Bianco’s flagship location.
With Carneros Resort and Spa only 45 minutes from San Francisco, FARM is easily accessible to those who wish to visit wine country for the day and have an exquisite experience.
FARM and Bianco’s collaboration will create a dining option unlike any other in Napa Valley.
