Coming off a record setting 2022 spring and summer season of events, Austin Texas is preparing for a busy fall with an exciting lineup of in-person events. Here are some highlights of Austin Festivals 2022 Fall Edition and Top Things to Do.
Pecan Street Festival
The Pecan Street Festival is a free two-day arts festival held twice yearly in downtown Austin’s Sixth Street Historic District.
Taking place September 17-18, the juried festival attracts hundreds of local and national artisans offering original handcrafted creations in a variety of mediums, from metal, wood, fiber, clay, leather, glass and stone to repurposed materials of all kinds.
Austin City Limits Music Festival
The annual Austin City Limits Music Festival returns to give Austin a weekend full of live music, tasty food, and fun activities.
Taking place October 7-9 and 16-18, festival-goers can experience a diverse lineup of acts with eight stages, more than 130 performances and have the opportunity to indulge in the fun over two full weekends of music.
Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix
The Formula 1 Aramco United States Grand Prix returns to Texas for a celebration of speed and sound October 21-23.
The three-day event provides an action-packed experience that fuses world-class racing with major championship implications.
There’s no shortage of star power off-track as superstars headliners hit the Super Stage on with post-race performances each night.
LEVITATION
Get those costumes and tickets ready for the epic psychedelic music and art festival, LEVITATION, taking place October 27-30.

Austin Food + Wine Festival
Pamper your palate at the Austin Food + Wine Festival, taking place November 4-6. Join top chef talent, sommeliers and winemakers from across the nation and Austin’s own acclaimed gourmet scene for an indulgent, three-day epicurean adventure unlike any other, topped off with live musical performances.
Texas Book Festival
The Texas Book Festival, taking place November 5-6, has evolved into one of the premier literary events in the country and hosts about 250 authors each year.
Join in with other bookworms for readings, panel discussions, signings, cooking demonstrations, live music, local food, YA authors, children’s activities and more.
Austin Celtic Festival
For a taste of Irish, Scottish and Breton culture, the Austin Celtic Festival, taking place November 5-6, delivers music, dance, sports, food and more.
From folk melodies to traditional Scottish pipes and drums, a full schedule of Celtic music performers is set for this November Festival.
