This weekend, the first-ever ASIASIE Market will be held at Time Out Market Montréal to celebrate Asia and the cultural diversity of Montreal.
As part of Asian Heritage Month, the ASIASIE Market invites Montrealers from all backgrounds and origins to discover and enjoy a market of diversified quality products from many parts of Asia (Cambodia, China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam and more) without leaving their city.
Various cultural programs will be ongoing and open to all:
- Chinese, Japanese and Taiwanese tea workshop
- Traditional Indonesian (Batik) and Vietnamese (Áo dài) costume parade
- Japanese and Vietnamese martial arts demonstration
- Participatory dance sessions with the public " KPop Random Dance "
- Roundtable of vendors and professionals to help meet the unique needs of Asian business owners
The ASIEASIE Market schedule will be as follows:
- Friday, May 26th 11:30am to 10pm
- Saturday, May 27th 11:30am to 9pm
- Sunday, May 28th 11:30am to 6pm
