The Art of Afternoon Tea is now on at Notch8 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver (BC Canada).
Inspired by the bold and colourful world of pop art, you’ll find avant-garde decor, dishes, and cocktails that are crafted to reflect the colours, shapes, textures, and themes of the visual pop art movement.
The tea room is decorated with bright pops of colour, bold patterns and designs creating an immersive experience.
Some of the fun cocktails include the Mellow Fellow; Obliteration Fizz; Bubbles & Berries; and This is Tomorrow.
The special Art of Afternoon Tea experience is available for $74.00 per person ($40.00 for children 12 and under) and begins with a selection of loose-leaf tea, along with sweet and savoury bites to complement the theme’s captivating canvas.
Highlights of the afternoon tea items include the Banana Eclair; Lips Chocolate Truffle; The Tall Meringue with Torched Swiss Meringue; and The Blank Canvas with White Mango and Raspberry Paints.
There were also Scones; a Smoked Ham Hock Terrine Sandwich with Edible Flowers; Ravioli Fritto and more.
The Art of Afternoon Tea is available through Monday, September 4 with seatings held Wednesday through Sunday and statutory holiday Mondays at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.
