Popeyes Biscuit Mix and Dipping Sauces Arrive in Canada

Popeyes has introduced their first Canadian grocery lineup, bringing biscuit mix and two restaurant-inspired dipping sauces to major grocery retailers nationwide. The range includes Blackened Ranch and Sweet Heat, giving shoppers options for preparing biscuits and serving the chain’s familiar sauce flavours at home.

The Popeyes Biscuit Mix is priced from $4.49 to $4.99, depending on the retailer. Each package makes ten homestyle buttermilk biscuits, with water and butter needed for preparation. The biscuits bake in under 20 minutes, making them an option for weeknight dinners, weekend brunches or holiday meals.

The mix is inspired by the buttery, flaky biscuits served at Popeyes restaurants. Home cooks can customise their batch with shredded cheese or fresh herbs, or finish the baked biscuits with a drizzle of honey.

The dipping sauces are priced from $5.49 to $6.49 each. Blackened Ranch combines blackened seasoning with creamy buttermilk ranch. Sweet Heat features honey with Aleppo pepper hot sauce for a sweet flavour followed by heat.

The sauces are intended for dipping and drizzling, extending their use beyond a restaurant chicken order. They can be served with home-cooked chicken, fries or other snacks, including a spread for watching sports or a family gathering.

The launch brings three Popeyes products into Canadian grocery stores, with a baking mix for those preparing a side dish and ready-to-use sauces for everyday meals. Prices vary by retailer.
