Reflections The Garden Terrace at Rosewood Hotel Georgia offers Pacific Northwest cuisine with influences from Vancouver’s different food cultures.

Greenery, wood finishes and a retractable glass roof give the restaurant a garden setting for dining throughout the year.

We visited for their Express Lunch, priced at $25 per person for one entrée and one beverage from a selected menu. The entrée choices are Mixed Greens; Burrata with Burnt Oranges; Mediterranean Bowl; Spicy Calabrese Flatbread; Maíz Dorado Flatbread and Lamb Keftedes. For drinks, guests can choose house red or white wine, a zero-proof cocktail, a soft drink, coffee or tea.

We tried the Maíz Dorado Flatbread, which had sweet charred corn and melted Manchego, with some heat from the guajillo chilli. I enjoyed the fresh tomato and avocado on top. The toasted pepitas added crunch, and the crust was browned around the edges.

With the Lamb Keftedes, I liked having enough tzatziki underneath to eat with each piece of lamb. The tangy yoghurt and salty feta worked well with the juicy, tender meat. A little sweetness from the pomegranate came through between bites.

The Lobster Dumplings were a separate starter addition to our lunch. They had crispy bottoms and came in a XO broth, with ginger and smoked chilli oil adding some warmth. There was a good amount of sweet, juicy lobster incorporated into the filling.

For drinks, we enjoyed Zero Hotel Georgia which was tart and lightly floral, with a little almond sweetness from the orgeat. The egg-white foam gave it a soft texture

Our other non-alcoholic drink, the Moroccan Mojito, was more minty and citrusy.

Finishing off a solid lunch, we had the Mango Passionfruit Pavlova, with sweet meringue, tart fruit and soft coconut jelly. I liked getting the jelly and fruit together with a piece of meringue.

The Black Sesame Basque Cheesecake is a newer addition to the dessert menu and it was creamy with a nutty sesame flavour. I enjoyed it with the pineapple ginger yuzu compote, which brought some tartness to each bite.
