Taco Bell Canada has brought two former menu items back and introduced the Quesarito in Canada for the first time.
The Quesarito, Meximelt and Caramel Apple Empanada are now available at participating locations for a limited time, as long as supplies last.
The Quesarito is a burrito wrapped inside a grilled cheese quesadilla. The menu item has previously been available in the United States and Spain, and Canadian customers have been asking for a local release.
The Meximelt dates back to Taco Bell’s menu from the 1980s. The returning item has remained one of the chain’s frequently requested former offerings.
The Caramel Apple Empanada is returning more than a decade after becoming a Taco Bell favourite. It has a caramel and apple filling inside a crisp, golden pastry shell.
All three items draw from different periods in Taco Bell’s menu history. The Quesarito is new to Canada, the Meximelt recalls the 1980s, and the Caramel Apple Empanada comes from the 2000s.
