Quesada Launches Canada’s First Nationwide Birria Menu

Quesada Burritos & Tacos has introduced a new limited-time lineup inspired by Mexico’s beloved birria, marking the first national rollout of this slow-braised style across Canada. Available now through December 10, the Unbelievable Birria collection brings rich, flavourful options to Quesada’s tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, and nachos.

The new menu features two protein choices: tender Barbacoa Beef and Pulled Shiitake Mushroom, both slow-cooked in a tangy chile-based marinade with warm spices. Each dish is paired with Quesada’s signature Birria Sauce, which adds depth to every bite. Guests can dip their tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, or drizzle the sauce over bowls and nachos for a savoury finish.

Chef Jason Baker and culinary co-lead Ilona Spudas designed the recipes to balance authentic Mexican influences with flavours suited to Canadian tastes. Their goal was to make birria approachable for guests nationwide while maintaining the essence of the dish’s slow-braised richness.
