Here is a roundup of Mother’s Day brunch Boston 2024 offerings as well as lunch, dinner and events by restaurants, hotels and businesses. You can find some ideas for Mother’s Day below and I have included the menus whenever available. Mother’s Day is Sunday, March 12, 2024.
Abe & Louie’s
Venerable Back Bay steakhouse Abe & Louie’s will be featuring their signature menu in addition to a collection of specials. For starters, there is a chilled English pea soup with brioche toast and mint crème fraiche ($13) as well as Maryland soft shell crab with sugar snap pea slaw and malt vinegar aioli ($25). The “land & sea” entrée pairs a 6oz filet with a Maine lobster tail served alongside asparagus with bearnaise ($98) in addition to dayboat scallops with morel mushrooms, fava beans and charred ramp pistou ($46). For something sweet, there is a monterosa cake with wild strawberries atop sponge cake with ricotta and mascarpone ($12) and for a refreshing sip, Your Day to be Sassy with elderflower, lemon and mint ($16).
Atlantic Fish Co.
Serving Boston the freshest catch since 1978, Atlantic Fish Co. will be dishing out a quintet of specials in addition to a cocktail feature. To start, there is a bouquet of baby greens with cucumber, shaved fennel, radish and a lemon-thyme vinaigrette ($14). For entrees, there is a “land & sea” option with a 6oz filet mignon and butter-poached lobster served with whipped potatoes, oyster mushrooms and truffle emulsion ($85) in addition to stuffed lemon sole with creamed spinach, saffron couscous and lemon beurre blanc ($46). The dessert feature is a limoncello raspberry cake with vanilla ice cream ($12) and to sip, there is Mumm Knows Best with Sipsmith gin, Lillet Blanc, mandarin and lemon ($18).
Coach Grill
Wayland’s crown jewel Coach Grill will dish an array of food and cocktail specials over three days. The starter features are a baby bibb lettuce salad with candied pecans, cinnamon apples, blue cheese and lemon vinaigrette ($17) and lobster crab Louie with avocado, endive and tomato ($24). Bring your appetite for the main courses, “land & sea” with a 6oz filet mignon and butter-poached lobster served with whipped potatoes and spring peas ($85) as well as pan-seared halibut with shiitake mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and lemon beurre blanc ($65). Leave room for dessert, a monterosa cake with wild strawberries atop sponge cake with ricotta and mascarpone ($12). For cocktails, there is Mum-Believably Good with Aperol, strawberry, lychee and sparkling rosé ($16) in addition to No One Said Life is Fair with gin, lemon juice, butterfly pea syrup and prosecco ($16).
Bistro du Midi
Bistro du Midi is offering a Mother’s Day prix-fixe holiday brunch. Priced at $80 per person. Additional raw bar & beverage features will also be available.
Joe’s on Newbury
Located in the Back Bay’s most fashionable quarters, Joe’s on Newbury will serve up specials designed just for mom. Up first is a lobster bisque ($14) before moving onto the main events of filet Oscar – a 6oz filet mignon with jumbo lump card, whipped potatoes, sauteed green bears and hollandaise sauce ($50) – as well as lobster risotto accented with spring vegetables ($50). The dessert is a dark chocolate truffle mousse cake ($10) and the bar will shake up two cocktails: Because I Said So with Lunazul blanco, lemon and sparkling rosé ($18) and Wonder Women with Maker’s Mark, pineapple, pomegranate and citrus ($16).
XOXO Sushi Bar
Opening early at 12pm, XOXO Sushi Bar (Chestnut Hill) is celebrating its first Mother’s Day in Chestnut Hill by dazzling matriarchs with a lavish eight-course prix fixe menu. Chef Kegan Stritchko’s much anticipated 16-course omakase experience will make its debut later this spring but since moms deserve to be spoiled on this (and every) day, this special feature menu serves as a taste of what’s to come. $200 per guest (à la carte menu also available).
The Wellington
The Wellington is offering extended/special hours for Mother’s Day on May 12, 2024. The Wellington will be open 11am-3pm serving an special a la carte brunch menu featuring live jazz, as well as again from 4:30pm-8pm serving an a la carte dinner menu with specials. Highlights will include the Berry Belgian Waffle (our famous waffle recipe, fresh berries, berry sauce, whipped cream, vermont maple syrup) and the Mushroom Rotolo (rolled “lasagna” sauteed wild mushrooms, béchamel, fontina pink sauce, almond green onion pesto). Outdoor patio seating will also be available. Reservations can be made via Resy HERE.
il Casale
Both il Casale locations will be offering extended/special hours for Mother’s Day on May 12, 2024 from 12pm-8pm and will be offering an a la carte menu with Mother’s Day specials. Specials will include a Spaghetti Primavera (fiddleheads, fava beans, snap peas, asparagus, cherry tomato, green garlic pesto, pecorino romano) and Crocchette di Baccala (salt cod potato croquettes, calabrian chili aioli). Outdoor patio seating will also be available at il Casale Belmont. Reservations can be made via Resy HERE (Belmont) and HERE (Wellington).
Joe’s Waterfront
On Boston Harbor, Joe’s Waterfront will feature a duo of entrees and cocktails as well as a dessert special. Main courses include a filet Oscar – a 6oz filet mignon with jumbo lump card, whipped potatoes, sauteed green bears and hollandaise sauce ($50) – as well as a baked stuff sole with spring vegetables, couscous and lobster cream sauce ($35). Dessert is a dark chocolate mousse cake ($10) while the cocktail specials are Momma Needs a Drink with Lunazul blanco, guava and blood orange ($16) and Mumm-tini with Sipsmith gin, passionfruit, vanilla and lime ($14).
Venezia Restaurant
Venezia Restaurant is offering a Mother’s Day a la carte in the main dining room. They are also offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet in ballroom. Priced at $60 per person. $25 for children (12 & under).
Mooo
Mooo BEACON HILL (all day) and Mooo BURLINGTON (dinner) are taking Mother’s Day reservations.
Puritan & Company
Puritan & Company (Cambridge) is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch 3-course menu. Priced at $65 per person. There will be an a la carte menu for children under 12. Menu is as follows.
Ledger Restaurant & Bar
Ledger Restaurant & Bar (Salem) is offering a Mother’s Day lunch and dinner 3-course prix-fixe menu from 11:30am-6pm. Priced at $75 per person. Kids menu will also be available.
Neroli Ristorante
Neroli Ristorante (Westwood) is offering a Mother’s Day special brunch and dinner. Begin the day with brunch featuring Italian delicacies. Enjoy the sound of live musicians.
Redstone American Grill – Burlington
Redstone American Grill – Burlington is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet from 9am-3pm. Priced at $55.95 per person; kids 6-12 $22.95; kids 5 and under free.
Dotty’s Kitchen & Raw Bar
Dotty’s Kitchen & Raw Bar (Quincy) is taking Mother’s Day reservations.
Victory Point
Victory Point (Quincy) is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. Priced at $48 per person.
La Morra
La Morra (Brookline) is offering a Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet. Priced at $50 for adults; $25 kids 12 & under.
The VERVE Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Welcome to the Mother’s Day Brunch at The VERVE Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Join them at 11 am on May 12 for a delightful celebration of all the amazing moms out there. The Town Meeting Bistro – Inn at Hastings Park is offering an appetizer and dessert brunch buffet showcasing New England’s natural bounty as well as exceptionally curated a la carte entrée selections. Mom will also be able to enjoy her mimosas as the littles prepare complimentary mini bouquets. See menu below.
Adults $120 Includes: Buffet, Choice of one entrée and mimosas. Children 4-12 years of age $65: Buffet and make a bouquet for mom at the signature Wilson Farm Flower Cart. Children 3 and under are free.
