Women’s History Month NYC 2024 – Restaurants & Bars Give Back

Here are some delicious ways to give back as we celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day in NYC 2024.

The Standard, East Village 

The Standard, East Village – NO BAR has created a new specialty cocktail called Like a Boss crafted with female-owned YOLA Mezcal. Orange liqueur, Italian bitters & passionfruit accompany the spirit that will be available for the entire month and will see a portion of proceeds from the $17 cocktail going to the Women’s Prison Association, a non-profit committed to redefining the lives of women impacted by incarceration.

Sushi by Bou

 In honor of Women’s History Month, modern speakeasy-inspired omakase concept Sushi by Bou is proud to announce a fiery collaboration with Holy Tshili, a woman-owned brand known for its unique spicy everything chili crisp. This limited-edition Holy Hotness Handroll will be available at all Sushi by Bou locations nationwide starting on International Women’s Day, March 8th, for $14.

This innovative a la carte handroll is a fusion of silky salmon tartare and Holy Tshili Everything Chili Crisp, creating a perfect balance of umami, heat, and crunch. Toasted sesame oil, fragrant chilis, and the addictive crunch of everything bagel seasoning add a distinctly New York City personality to the roll, further enhanced by the unique Japanese flavors of yuzu and shiso.

Authentic Hospitality

Authentic Hospitality venues Jac’s on Bond, Bar Calico, Ray’s LES, Ray’s BK and Pebble Bar have partnered with female founded Harridan Vodka and Ume Plum Liqueur to give back to The Brigid Alliance. For each sale of the limited edition Dissenting Opinion, $3 will be donated to the Brigid Alliance.

Ophelia Lounge

In honor of Women’s History Month, Ophelia will be offering a Hers cocktail with tiki rum, creme de fraise, coconut cream, nardini amaro, pineapple and raspberries (graphic HERE), alongside a Chocolate Cup dessert made with rainbow layered cake, vanilla cream cheese frosting and sprinkles. Ophelia will donate 10% of the proceeds of both the cocktail and dessert to the Mayshad Foundation, an organization that supports and funds women micro-entrepreneurs to carry their lives’ dignity by generating sustainable income for themselves, their families and communities.
