Planet Santa, the region’s most festive and immersive Santa set, totaling 4,500 square feet, is returning to Centre Court at Scarborough Town Centre (STC).
Fans far and wide were delighted when STC’s iconic hot air balloons reappeared. This year, the balloons are back with a new festive twist that includes a whimsical Hot Air Balloon installation standing 16-feet tall, allowing families to capture photos within the hot air balloon itself.
A limited-edition hot air balloon ornament is also debuting this season to meet shopper demand for the iconic design and exclusive commemorative merchandise.
These special experiences are complemented by holiday services such as gift wrapping and gift card promotions, designed to make STC an essential holiday destination for the community and beyond.
Planet Santa
Prepare to be transported to a winter wonderland as Santa returns with one of the largest and most interactive holiday scenes in the Greater Toronto Area. The Santa experience includes a journey through Santa’s workshop, life-sized snow globes, and towering Christmas trees ranging from six to 20 feet tall. The varied seasonal landscapes and experiences culminate with the opportunity to capture special moments with Santa himself.

Hot Air Balloon Photo Experience
STC continues to spread the holiday cheer with a brand new installation featuring the nostalgic Hot Air Balloons. STC’s iconic hot air balloons returned to wide acclaim as part of STC’s 50th anniversary and are now adapted into a sparkling new photo experience. Standing 16-feet tall, fans will have the chance to capture a magical moment with special significance for the Scarborough community and beyond.

Timings: Open daily until December 24 during holiday shopping hours.
Additionally, guests can bring the nostalgia of STC’s Hot Air Balloons home with an exclusive, limited-edition hot air balloon ornament, available for purchase both in-mall at Planet Santa and online. This exquisite ornament is the perfect addition to the Santa photo or a unique standalone gift.
Love, Scarborough Gift Wrapping in Support of the Scarborough Health Network Foundation
Reinforcing its community connections, STC will be offering gift wrapping services in support of Scarborough Health Network (SHN) Foundation. One hundred per cent of gift-wrapping proceeds will be donated to the Love, Scarborough campaign, supporting Scarborough Hospitals. The gift-wrapping station will be located on the Lower Level across from Stitch It.
