Pizzeria Spacca Napoli is a popular, neighbourhood pizzeria in Port Moody serving amazing Neapolitan pies. On the menu are award-winning pizzas; home-made style pastas and desserts.

Here is what we tried:
Mama’s original meatballs
Macelleria Columbus meat, tomato sauce, Parmigiano Reggiano, fresh basil

Pappardelle with beef ragu
Slow-braised beef, fresh basil, Parmigiano Reggiano

Smoked pancetta & sundried tomato pizza

Quattro formaggi pizza

Honey Sage Bourbon

Nonna’s tiramisu
Espresso, Savoiardi biscuits, whipped mascarpone, cocoa dusting

The meatballs were melt-in-your-mouth delicious in a tangy, tomato sauce. The pappardelle was al dente and the beef ragu was bold and flavourful. Their pizzas have perfectly, thin, crispy, chewy, bubbly and charred crusts. They had just the right amount of toppings. To finish off, the tiramisu was rich, creamy, custardy, and light all at the same time.
They do not take reservations so it might be a bit of wait depending on when you arrive. Good thing is that it is worth it!

The energetic space features a mix of dining tables, high top tables and some seating around the bar.

A trendy place to dine at, but with all due respect, if we are honest, if you examine pictures herein there are examples of various flavored pizza with burnt/blackened crusts. We were disappointed in ordering two different pizzas and saw the same as photos herein, and it was soggy and gooey wet in the middle. When you cut it with their large scissors (very cool idea) it did not cut like a normal pizza where you take it off your plate and hold a slice in your hand. While the flavors were tasty it was a costly experience for a party of four adults at $120.00. Their lemon gelato was over the top and gave you pucker power freshness in your mouth with its tartness, and the pasta dishes were filling, two thumbs up and worth their menu prices.
Their truffle fries are better than most eateries (similar idea) like Brown's Social house who give you skimpy portions (sorry to say) and tiny piece of fries in their baskets. Yet, Scappa Napoli fries were a good helping and far better than most others. We've been to oven baked pizza places similar to Scappa Napoli including Middle Eastern restaurants that use the same kind of oven, and their food does not look like our plate and the pics in this website. It was a busy time at 1800 hours, and folks were waiting outside to be seated which is a good thermometer for a restaurant's success.
