The Press Club Grill is a new dining destination, led by celebrated Chef Franklin Becker, which effortlessly captures the essence of 1950s and 1960s Manhattan through its classic American cuisine, offering both a sense of familiarity and nostalgia with modern twists.

Situated where Herald Square and NoMad meet, the restaurant offers a charming blend of a retro-meets-glam ambiance, reminiscent of an evening out with characters like Midge Maisel and Don Draper with a stunning brass bar, large baguettes, vintage memorabilia and throwback cocktails.

Adding to the allure is a one-of-a-kind mural installation, displaying portraits of iconic New Yorkers such as Marilyn Monroe, Andy Warhol and Audrey Hepburn.
Chef Becker’s menu presents a fresh take on beloved dishes, with standout items such as “Rice-A-Roni” served in a shell with Dungeness Crab, Buffalo Carrots (a creative twist on traditional wings), a reimagined Waldorf Salad, Stroganoff served in a ravioli-style, an oversized Beef Wellington for Two made with prosciutto and truffle sauce, a cheeseburger prepared in the style of Diane, Crab Rangoons filled with fresh crab and scallion cream cheese, topped with sweet and sour sauce and Duck A L’orange for the table served with fried rice and wontons.

James Beard Award Nominee Sam Mason (formerly of OddFellows) drew inspiration from desserts of the era, resulting in treats like Cherries Jubilee, Peach Melba and Apricot Sorbet Popsicles.

Eleven Madison Park’s former Pastry Chef Romina Peixoto has been tapped to create 600 chocolate desserts daily from the restaurant’s on-site chocolate room.
Her specialty lies in pastel-colored chocolate BonBons, elegantly spray-painted and filled with ganache.

The Press Club Grill NYC is located at 1262 Broadway, New York, NY.
