4th of July Washington DC 2023: Where to Celebrate

Brickstones Kitchen and Bar will offer an array of American dish staples including burgers, half smokes and cocktail specials all day on July 4th.

Guests can enjoy creative twists on classic favorites such as a chili cheese half-smoke with chili con carne, Tillamook cheddar, and carmelized onions, or an elote dog half smoke with corn relish, cotija cheese, tajin, and Kewpie mayo.

Additional specials include the wild boar burger melt with cheddar and American cheeses, applewood smoked bacon, exotic mushroom, and Texas toast, and onion fried smashburger with caramelized red onion, cheddar cheese, fried egg, and a brioche bun.

Pair your dish with a $10 bourbon sidecar featuring teeling whiskey, triple sec, lemon juice and simple syrup, topped off with an orange garnish. 

Fairmont Washington DC Georgetown

Before the National Mall’s fireworks display begins, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown is offering an all-American BBQ on Tuesday, July 4 in the courtyard for all patriots from 5pm to 8pm.

Executive Chef Jordi Gallardo, Executive Sous Chef Jason Rowley and Juniper Chef Edward Agnew are firing up their summer grills with ribs, burgers smoked pork shoulder, smoked chicken, sausages and hot dogs. Assorted BBQ sauces including peach, Alabama white, Carolina vinegar and bourbon are zesty toppings. Corn bread and side dishes of corn-on-the-cob, mixed greens, potato salad and southern baked beans complement the all-American menu.

Do not forget to save room for America’s infamous apple and cherry pie desserts prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Claus Olsen.

Skydome

The rotating rooftop at Skydome at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Washington DC will provide exceptional 15th floor views of the Washington, DC skyline.

Guests can choose from celebrating at the restaurant or in the Monuments View Room.

At Skydome enjoy a fun-filled 4th of July celebration with premium seating for the fireworks show, a flavorful all-American buffet and two free adult beverages (beer or wine) for each guest.

In the Monuments View Room there will be a dessert bar and games as guests watch the fireworks.

Atlas Brew Works’ Navy Yard Brewery & Tap Room

Atlas Brew Works’ Navy Yard Brewery & Tap Room will open early at 9am on Tuesday, July 4, for guests to imbibe before the Washington Nationals game at 11:05am.

Celebrate the Fourth of July from 9am to 9pm with award-winning beer and pizza.

Those who don’t have tickets to the game are still invited to stick around and watch the Nationals take on the Cincinnati Reds on Atlas’ ample televisions with sound.
